The paint and soft goods have always been NECA's strong areas. Articulation points/joints and QA seem to be what they still struggle with..."such is life"

You should be able to fix the arm with a pair of pliers. Just put a towel over the arm first to prevent marking the figure with the pliers. I had that same problem with android Krang and now it's just fine.

I’ve read a lot of the archie books and IDW but haven’t the original run. I plan to tackle it one day. How pissed at myself will I be if I skip this figure. Will I find her as an essential character once I get to the original comics?

8:35 It's not loose, it just looks like the pin didn't get pushed all of the way through. You can fix that with steaming hot water, get the plastic nice and pliable by letting it soak, and then push the pin through properly, either with something thin with a blunt end, or maybe by pressing the arm flat on a surface, and pressing down hard on the side where the pin is sticking out, with your fingers. You could possibly make a video about it.

I’m going to PRAY that they will release a blue outfit paint version. I’d like to get that. I’m not a fan of the black line accents on the figures (but, yes, I do like Jack Kirby style art). Either way, blue (comic book accurate) version & I’m there.

Is Neca 100% not reissuing the 2008 Mirage turtles again? If they don’t have the molds why are knock offs still being made. The molds are somewhere and if they can’t find them just resculpt them. I’m excited about the new Tmnt figures but I still want them to put out the 2008 set again. Just make it happen. Do the right thing. Tell us! Someone ask them, whoever’s on the inside.

I think it's a combination of them being bootlegged to death, updating the sculpts to newer versions (that were shown at SDCC), and I also heard (although this isn't verified) that they are not really allowed to do the original sculpts again due to some legal stuff to do with Peter Laird (don't quote me on that last one, I only heard that through secondary sources, and I can't verify it).

You can fix the arm with a heat gun or hair drier to warm up the plastic first. Then use a clamp to lightly tighten the plastic. It may take a couple rounds becuase you don't want to get the plastic too hot so that it deforms the sculpt, you just want to bend it
