6:10 The thing that no one says is they had skin! I didn't know the etiquette was calling them the red versions, as I had no idea originally what ppl were referring to. I just thought they were normal humans wearing clothes versions....as opposed to the blue skined/blue clothing shadowed lazy digital inker versions.

8:05 It's most commonly referred to as a three-section staff. It was originally created in China, where it's called sanjiegun. In Japan it's called sansetsukon. 🙂 It looks like they at least partially reused the arms from the 4-armed Shredder Clone and just remolded the wrist piece, which would explain the ease with which the wrists can pop off. I imagine the purple "blood" pieces from the Shredder Clone probably fit on this figure as well.

I know it was a poke but I believe the reason the gauntlet comes off a little easy is like you mentioned earlier, it may be reuse from the four armed clone

I don't even mind the colours, but you're right, them not matching is so weird. If they did, you could get a nice and varied army going that still feels uniform. But with this... like, did the Foot tailor mess up and hope nobody would notice? Still a cool figure, though. I'm, really hoping they re-do the Foot Soldier and Enforcer in the battle damaged Shredder's blue, which looks the best to me.

Yes, all of the figures you show are colored as they where in the IDW Color Classics reprints… although (to the best of my knowledge) the issue with the foot enforcer was never printed in color before the IDW books.

I think you're right there, but considering Shredder and the regular Foot ninjas are in red and gray, and they also made the Foot Elite in red and gray, it's not too big a jump to assume the Enforcers should also be in red and gray. And I'd put money on NECA releasing exactly that at some point in the near(ish) future.

When it comes to color uniformity, the only one I can excuse is the Battle Damaged Shredder. He’s actually supposed to be wearing a blue outfit as to where the other’s are supposed to be a representation of how they appear in the shadows.

Why is he supposed to be wearing a blue outfit? That's IDW coloring. If you see the original source material from mirage it's red. Issue 10 also issue 21 clone/mutant shredders are red.

I grew up reading the original Mirage run, so I definitely prefer the red and gray colors to the IDW blue! I know nostalgia plays into it, but I feel like they're objectively better--the color variation feels more natural. You can see sculpted fingernails on this figure, like it's supposed to be exposed skin--the all blue just feels like a variant to me. I'm not sure if it's a licensing thing or what, but it's my only knock against this line. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely not my preference.

necas qc is very sus lately. i got 2 aprils with misaligned pegs in the knees(one one each fig), and i just got a synja with a stuck shoulder. the shoulder swivels but wouldnt raise to the side. no mater how long i water temp’d it it wouldnt budge. i ended up snapping the shoulder peg trying to get it loose. so what the hell.

He's pretty dope! I've been holding off on building a foot army. Not the biggest fan of the blue look, keeping fingers crossed 🤞 they do a re-release of the Red Foot Clan to match along the Shredder Clones or get some kind of uniformity with a color scheme.

A great looking figure, however, not a fan of the color choice. I know its supposed to be IDW colors, (i wouldve preferred mirage coloring) and "shadowy", but it just doesnt do it for me. It might not have been as bad if they wouldve put more black shading. At least match up the coloring across figures! I custom painted one of the regular foot soldiers and it is decent, just wish they would rerelease these figures, (including shredder), in the OG mirage colors

These odd blue colors, and the Skittles Shredder Clones set, are all actually based on the color schemes used in the IDW printed re-prints of the Mirage stories in their "Color Classics" books, which give color for the first time to stories that were always just black and white. That's where these colors are coming from. If you look at any original colored works, like cover art or posters, from the old Mirage series, you'll see that the Shredder and the Foot Ninjas are in maroon red with flesh arms. Those were released in that elusive Foot Box Set from NYCC, which a lot of us missed and is now WAAAY too expensive for my wallet, but it looks like we are getting a re-release of those Foot Ninjas thank God! I am seriously praying that we get that same maroon Shredder to go with it, especially since we're getting Casey in his proper red shirt and the maroon Ninjas. So, there are two color schemes being release: IDW Color Classics scheme, and original Mirage color scheme! Hopefully this follows suit for a lot of releases to come because I really just want my Mirage originals. Lol

It would make me very happy if they did a rerelease or new non-battle damaged standard Shredder. I missed out on the loot crate unfortunately. The loot crate version is very spensive on the after market.

Hatter, in my best gate keeper/comic book guy voice- It is called a tri-section staff🤣😉 oh and there is probably a formal name I am not hip too. I do like just about everything about this Enforcer. The extra feature must be something special Neca is doing for all their TMNT merchandise, take that Hasbro!😁 I for one do not mind the varied blues in the Mirage line. What would make it better to me would be more high lights and some other color accents like grey, black , or silver. The cell shading is fantastic which noone does better then Neca. I have one ordered but I will have to wait 'cause my order has yet to be fulfilled. Nice outro pics glad to see there is a break in the Lair debate. ✌️
