I've been pretty disappointed by all of NECAs previous Godzilla releases. This is the first that made me really want to have it. From the box to the sculpt and the new tail design and atomic effect. Hopefully they release more with this quality moving forward.

I randomly stumbled across this figure today while browsing the toy section at Target. When I saw the head design, I knew I had to have it. This is the Godzilla I grew up watching as a child back in the 70s/80s. So cool and fun looking. Glad I found your review too as it reinforced my own assessment of how cool this one looks. Thanks!

Nice review! Hey, if you ever thought about collecting high end Godzilla figures, S.H. MonsterArts is the way to go! However, for $23, it's kind of hard to argue with what NECA has to offer.
