It’s tough because this figure feels so stripped down compared to the skateboarding version. They should have given him the aviator glasses only this time with a chrome effect.

Yeah bro I totally agree with you. It’s basically the exact same Marty as the 1st one without the life jacket on. And with a different Gutair and a different hand that the inly differences would have like to see a enchantment under the sea dance marty.

It's a nice looking figure overall, even though the head sculpt doesn't resemble actor Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly. For some reason, NECA has been struggling when it comes to his likeness. In comparison, the Doc Brown figure has a great likeness when it comes to actor Christopher Lloyd. It's still a nice figure regardless. The hair has a good sculpt. The denim jacket and jeans look like actual denim and they have the appropriate wrinkles and folds. The guitar is a nice inclusion. However, it makes no sense that NECA decided to include the phasing out hand, especially considering that Marty McFly isn't even wearing the proper outfit to go along with it. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the hard work!

I bought a Marty Audition that came with two left hands. i have not opened it. on the right arm it has a vanishing clear hand but its a left hand mold. Has anyone else run into this?

They did make a weird choice with that hand situation! Does this mean there won't be an Enchantment Under the Sea Marty...?? Huh. Personally, I think we have enough Martys for now, how about some more Doc Browns? They nailed the hell out of THOSE head sculpts, we need to see more! How about a George McFly? Hell, I'd even love a Mr. Strickland. Great review! I'll probably end up picking this one up, but no rush, I have three Martys already!

On the NECA Twitter they said they have a few more back to the future figure announcements coming soon. 0% change of getting a George McFly however. Crispin Glover is VERY protective of his likeness :/

There's so many Marty costumes that they could release. And I would buy every one of them. I'm hoping for 1955 Docs idea of an authentic western outfit, and 1955 inconspicuous undercover outfit.

I don't think the sculpt is bad, but like John Connor, you're dealing with an an actor who was really young and fresh faced. Compared to most NECA figures, his face just looks much smoother and lacking in detail. They also could've given us a different facial expression. Still, I don't think the actual features are really off.

What I did with this figure was give him the 1985 Marty head with the sunglasses and the yellow guitar from the first figure and is an opening credits Marty on my shelf.

Yes it does make sense. It's smart business. You get a lot of accessories. But let's say you get everything you need in one figure. You don't really need to buy another one. But they do that so you you gotta get this figure if you want to have this hand for a possible 1955 Marty in the future. Its common practice and again smart business.

Neca has it all wrong with this release as it makes no sense. He should be wearing 1955 Dance Outfit at the Enchantment under the Sea dance. I can’t buy this for these reasons and will wait for another BTTF figure and HOPE for something that at least makes sense to display..... wasted shelf warmer. Thanks for the review..👍

Honestly this is a really lazy release on Neca’s part. It’s a glorified repack. They didn’t even adjust the head sculpt (the one thing preventing me from buying the BTTF Neca figs). The disappearing hand makes no sense on this release. They should’ve just made the Enchantment Under The Sea version instead with that Gibson guitar and released the Strat in an accessories pack IMO. This figure has no reason to exist lol

This figure is such a waste of money. I hate that Neca is giving us the exact same figure so early in the line. I had planned on getting every BTTF figure they released but I cant justify buying this at retail price. Maybe if I find it on clearance I'll get it but I'll use it somewhere else, I wouldn't display it with the others.
