I love NECA figures, but every time I open one it's like I am dealing with a one thousand year old piece of parchment paper that will fall apart with ONE wrong move.

MY Hunter Predator has the same hip joint issue I've seen a couple like this not sure if its intended

I'm surprised that other people are surprised with NECA and QC issues. Every single alien from the AvP line broke, was fused, or tore apart right out of the package. My Preds had a torso come apart, the shoulder cannons never stay on, I had to glue one in place because it was so warped it couldn't hold on at all. my Clan Leader Pred actually exploded while trying to turn the waist right out of the package (arms and legs bounced off, the torso actually snapped open and sliced my finger). I have alien feet snap off their tiny ball pegs, paint that fuses joints, joints that are too tight or rubbery that they simply twist apart when moving limbs. I love NECA's stuff for how they look, but I am absolutely terrified of taking any of it out of the box now. When they come out okay, they're just amazing, but it's become a running joke now that you keep them MIP because opening them up could cause them to burst into flames. :-(

@james paul Yeah, same here, especially after each of the Aliens were defective. I have good copies of them now, but I can't return the preds or humans anywhere nearby if I do decide to open them at this point.

@james paul Had the same thing with a couple of pred weapons. The Hive Wars blue Pred had his scythe snap just trying to bend it a little to get into his hands with the way they were sculpted.

Yeah, I've had a few QC issues with the NECA Aliens & Predator figures, too, but nothing as bad as what I've heard about online. Most were fixable. Maybe I just lucked out. Having said that, I just got a "Golden Angel" Predator whose control panel hinge snapped on one side while I was opening it up to take a look at it. For those kinds or prices, we shouldn't have to worry about breakages.

I never really have any issues with QC, pretty much everything I've bought from them has been perfect. Heck all my Arcade Preds turned out great. Couldn't be happier with their stuff. That absolutely stinks about yours though!
