It does suck about the cracking, mine's really not too bad, but then I wasn't having Rat King do crazy kicks anyway. Hopefully they take note of it, otherwise it's a pretty great figure. Been very happy with the set.

Surely someone in NECA played around with this figure, and they spotted the same issues with the cracking at the top of the legs, and then just went "Yeh that's fine, ship them all out". Ive seen enough videos over the years explaining the full articulation of figures, inc Pixel Dan, and Shartimus Prime, that I would test all of these poses and movements before I gave the go ahead to mass produce them or send them out.

Rat King looks amazing but the diaper issue is definitely a concern. Vernon is one of my favourite figures of the line. He's so different and well, it's silly Vernon and he's a Werewolf! Great review!

You summed it up. Neca stuff looks pretty, but their QC stinks and their distribution is horrendous. I’d love to be able to find any of their tmnt stuff at a store....

I got the Splinter and Baxter two pack and the Splinter figure's feet had so much paint caked on the joint; when I went to articulate it the paint flaked off in chunks. I returned it.

Yeah the Vernon is absolutely a delightful figure. I hated him so much as a kid, so it's fun to have him getting beat up by the Triceratons. I have the same Rat King problem. bummed out.

I watched Dans reveiw before I found my set and luckily I was precautions when I unbound the Ratking . Luckily I haven't seen any kind of these issues (yet) .

Speaking of flaws. I just noticed the cracks on the Ratking on the promo shot on the back after you mentioned it, but also, Vernon is holding the camera wrong in the pic too. The view finder is on the other side of the camera. Like seriously who is in charge of these things???. Haha

I really wish another company had the toon license and not NECA. I have had so many figures with issues that I haven't been bothering to buy them anymore. I wanted to just get the quarter scale figures but they are so large I am just not sure.

The paint issue on the Rat King isn't a huge deal breaker, but it's definitely something that should have been fixed. Sadly I don't think it'll be too easy to find these guys... Any chance of reviewing the 1/4 Toon Raphael?
