Yo. I'm a Canadian... and Target coming to Canada was the best thing ever. Wal-Mart doesn't even compare. Target has such nice product! A little more expensive, but I dig the vibe.

Joshua Kelley I just got home from the UK and when I went grocery shopping I went to ASDA which is actually owned by Wal-Mart! It's a bit smaller, but the slogan, set up, and variety of products is near the same!

God is A cunt I am aware of this now . . .but given what the guys said in the video, and considering I was commenting at like 1 in the morning . . . I just found it funny they were shocked by Wal-Mart.

it's so crazy to hear how all of these things that are "nothing" to me or that I am so accustomed to are such a culture shock to them. You really don't think about what you have while living your daily lives! I guess I should stop complaining about gas prices here cause their obviously higher elsewhere haha and its hilarious how they think Walmart is like the greatest place hahaha

i think the point about food places being open 24 hours really depends on the area and the type of food place. i remember when i used to work closing shifts, the only places that would be open at 10 were fast food. if i wanted food, i either had to get fast food, or hope i had something at home to heat up

OK a few things here. 1) Burgers. Everything between two pieces of bread, bun, or biscuit is NOT A BURGER! The only things that are burgers must include ground beef or bison patties. Everything else is a SANDWICH. 2) Biscuits vs Cookies vs Scones Biscuits are not Cookies, nor are they Scones. They may look like Scones, but they are made differently and are not sweet in any way. Biscuits are generally made with buttermilk. As you'll often see Fresh Buttermilk Biscuits advertised. Biscuits are used for breakfast sandwiches and biscuits and gravy. See #3. 3) Gravy. There are many different kinds of gravy. Gravies are made by using the fat from whatever meat you're cooking plus flour and milk. White gravy is used on biscuits and it is a delicious breakfast dish that originated in the Deep South during the Slavery Days. It's cheap to make and is very filling. The best kind of gravy is sausage gravy. It's white with chunks of sausage in it. You smother the biscuits in that gravy which softens up the biscuits and it's super delicious.

the funny thing is that if Neck Deep was an american band and they were going to the UK and talking about culture shocks there it would be considered the most offensive thing ever. Not that I'm offended as an American or anything, it's just something to think about.
@Joe_Grape9 жыл бұрын
As in British people would be offended? I highly doubt that! I speak for myself but don't see anyone being offended, most people understand other countries do things differently.
