Why are all these medical animations so enjoyable to watch 💀

My Father had this procedure done 3 years ago. He was losing muscle mass and feeling on his right side. It was awful to see my Father go through painful process. I encouraged him to get the surgery done ASAP due to his nerves being damage and the possibility becoming partially paralyzed. He now has about 85% full recovery and is able to walk with a slight limp. For a 83 year old great grandpa, he looks great and still works on his yard doing minor work…Thank you to all the doctors and the surgical team to giving folks their life back and saving them from continuous pain and in my Dad’s case, becoming partially paralyzed on his right side.

one more question. when your dad turns his head side to side he automatically knows when to stop right? Could the metal infusion break if he turns to quickly?
@elgatogordo9523 Жыл бұрын
@@MusicLuv80 Yes, he knows when to stop. That will be a good question to ask the doctor about his neck limitation. We tease our Dad by calling him RoboCop ") What symptoms does your Dad have? This is well done; however the more common approach now is anterior, or through the front of the neck. It results in less pain, and quicker recovery. I had a 3 level cervical laminectomy, in 2018 and was discharged the following morning to go home. Titanium and silicone hardware was implanted, with screws. For the previous 3 months, I attended Iyengar yoga sessions twice weekly to help stretch my muscles. I had only nerve pain postoperatively. No muscle pain. Physical therapy for 3+ weeks afterwards. Preparing for surgery was the best investment, spared me a lot of discomfort! Please do a video on the anterior approach.
