I've recently joined red note and there are SO many chinese knitting videos with techniques I've never seen before and this was one of them. This seems to be an incredibly popular finish on their garments so I'm glad i found an English tutorial for it.

I know this isn’t entirely relevant to this video. But I love your channel and figured it was worth a shot to see if you could answer a question I had about Italian bind offs for a neckline? I’ve been searching endlessly for information on this, but I’m wondering if there’s any way to do an Italian bind off for knit 1, purl 2 ribbing?

I normally bind off 2 x 1 rib in pattern. Swapping the stitches doesn't work for 2 x 1.
