that was cool how they moved to a relax position then before you actually opened your eyes to look, they perked up. Shows that once you thought about looking to see if they worked they moved instead of when you opened your eyes to look. So it does work more on brainwaves then facial movements. Of course you missed them moving with your eyes closed. YOU WERE THE BEST AT RELAXING...you just had your yes closed. Bronwyn was the most cat like. I thought it cute watching the 3 of you together like that.

It could have easily have been momvement escepcially depending on the type of sensor and if it's making physical contact with you the entire time it's almost guaranteed to be pretty much physical contact based.

I had tried them on in the past. They were working fine for me, but like you Sharla I can't relax xD I wore them all day long with a maid outfit, success guaranteed!! I only know about these things because of the school I went to. There were a LOT of high functioning autistic kids there (including me) they couldn't walk, speak in complete sentences and could control their facial expressions. What this school helped us with was reading social cues and be aware of the impression we make on others when I was in middle school, there was 1 guy who always had these cat ears on. He also had a trench coat and even a cane. (Probably a huge weeb) the staff said it helped understand what he was feeling. (Btw don't be afraid too look like a weeb. I think weebs are cool. I kinda aspire to them actually. I think having chunibyo would be cool)

I've had them for five years or so. (My version doesn't have a strap, but it works just the same.) I don't think that the movement of the ears had something to do with my thoughts or feelings, but they are cute. One problem: They are quite delicate, I had to exchange mine after two days because the motors in the ear parts broke. Another problem: A fresh pack of batteries only lasts for two or three hours, so you can quite forget walking around with these things for a whole day at a convention without repeated maintenance.

I have these. If you wear these for a while, the clip on your ear starts to hurt. I recommend taking off your earring(s) when wearing these. The little sensor sometimes make a little dent on your forehead.
