it's great but i wish companies like riot compensated passionate developers instead of claiming what they do on their free time. It feels draconian when the biggest source of revenue comes from the unpaid labor of their workers. TFT, Arena, Swarm, it feels like any cool thing monolithic gaming companies do is originated by the exploitation of the most passionate developers. Riot isn't alone in this either.

​@@kitsun9375 TFT and Arena were planned by Riot, not just side projects by devs. Only Swarm started as a passion project. These need support, but you're making it seem like Riot did nothing for Swarm and just took credit. TFT's revenue is nowhere near Valorant's or League's. Swarm and Arena's revenue isn't even public, so claiming they generate much is pure misinformation.

i really hope that zed mechanic comes in some time its super cool! I think swarm has the potential to stay around like TFT and just get reskinned / stat reset with new bosses and playable characters / builds. Changing that up every few months would do well and I honestly think people would pay to play old characters in whichever the current swarm was just as the purchasable fund sink that riot requires everything to have.

This is the most fun and refreshing event I've experienced since Ascension and Dark Star game modes. Actually, I hope to have Swarm return at Harrowing, Christmas, Lunar Revel or even April Fools events. Literally any theme can fit with the right champs and items. Bilgewater, Piltover, Freljord, Shadow Isles, you name it.
