Yep. Necromancer is powerful character than others. Summon most undead, drain enemy’s energy and use corpse explosion that wipe out all hordes.

I really hated we just were not given the option to side with Mephisto or Nyrelle or whatever her name was. Like, maybe you don't end up fighting Lilith but have to fight Mephisto, or it doesn't end up in a fight? Or you end up fighting Lilith but end up getting betrayed by mephisto and end up fighting him after Lilith. I feel like getting railroaded into this one option was not a good choice. And looking back on it all I feel like a fair few options should have been left to the player to help shape the ultimate outcome.

C'mon bro, the series ain't that type of game. Diablo 1 didn't give you the option to side with Diablo, for example.

@@spacefaringyoshi Yes, it's also clearly not Diablo 1, either. The problem with this section in specific is, is the regard that there were clearly two paths being presented here. The first with the Prime Evil occasionally coming in when the MC needed guidance and contextualization. Then there is the second, where Nyrelle took you into the lawful-good route equivalent.

Yeah maybe blame our systems fighting against making good games by heavily monetizing it to the point where if something isn’t an overwhelming success, it’s tossed in the trash. And now it has to be a success before it even comes out. So those executives and rich folk, poke and prod at it. Firing on whims, and only thinking about the numbers. Not the game and its players.
