A translation of the text in the beginning: *Sometimes in the moment of waking from a nightmare, we are blessed.* *It seems that we bless the moment of dying as well.* My translation is quite literal and sounds rough, the Japanese used in these lines is an old and of a grand style. Kind of what you'll find in an old legend or ballad etc.
@IMPERIETIV5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the translation! The opening text is actually the Japanese translation of a Nathaniel Hawthorne quote: "We sometimes congratulate ourselves at the moment of waking from a troubled dream : it may be so at the moment after death."

I just found this video. I was there. HPL Festival in Portland Oregon. Total fluke. I lost track of the Film Shorts session I had come in for. So I went into the main hall to sulk. THEY ARRIVED on stage. Their singing was phenominolgical. Their energy level was off the chart. I asked at the time - how did thier voices souind so good? They were singing thir asses off while darting around like Quicksilver. AND -> Taped singing with taped music is illegal in Japan. Live shows can use some taped music or just tapled music, but the singers have to REALLY SING! And they did. I bought the cd/dvd Deathless there. I reccommend it.

especially the mismatch between lyrics and voice ;)

@@RSProduxx I envision the songwriting process like this: Composer Yakkun: My new song has a really happy catchy cutesy chorus, the type you'd hear in a wholesome kid's show. Band: ok, what's the song about? Yakkun: An apocalyptic death cult that invokes Lovecraftian Eldritch horrors to bring doom and death to humanity. Lots of references to Cthulhu. Band: PERFECT!!! this needs a video....make sure to include giant tentacles.

This video is awesome! Well worth the wait! I'm sure it's been said before, but this song reminds me of the opening to an anime. The various shots of the ladies walking around and the ending only strengthens this idea for me. The production value is top notch and the ladies look amazingly beautiful as always, especially Himari chan! Great job, ladies!

The Song has been awesome before but with the music Video it totally kicks ass. Love it. Also the idea that Sari chans Hair turns from black to green after she gets ressurrected is cool. I wonder if that was intended to or a Happy little accident that totally fits into the Video. 😁

Very cool. I like the changes and the visuals are awesome. The BIG question is, are the ending outfits new stage clothes? Sari steps over herself at the end so the symbolism is STRONG with this one. (It was confirmed the outfits are not new stage clothes. For the video only).

aaaah スゴいだよ to what lengths some women go just to get new clothing ^,..,^ Always wondered why they didn't make a video for this song. Now it has finally come to life...to death....to the screen! That was what I wanted to say. To the screen. They have an awesome repertoire of songs and deserve so much more recognition. Maybe this song could be a good icebreaker.

Oh, this is just too catchy for its own good, and anything that references the great H.P. Lovecraft is OK by me. Given the title of the song, I was thinking that the intro was the famous text from the Necronomicon about stranger aeons. but the Hawthorne quote was apropos as well. Now this has me wondering if that quote has appeared in any of Necroma's songs yet? IA IA to the new idol goddesses (for me anyway)!
