Well, thanks for your advice, it's roughly the same as predicted, it has a very low DEF, a hard-to-use weapon, and a small lock box, but I didn't expect these flaws to be so obvious in the LR In anticipation of this AC fight, the way to fight is to keep a close circle next to the opponent, but the AI aiming accuracy of the LR is higher than I thought In fact, I just put giI on it as a counterweight, and you can drop it away at the beginning of the battle. I later intended to replace it with a missile but never had time to go on the Internet Thank you again for your help

Just play with Human + enabled lol. It’s crazy, but Last Raven is the only AC game that’s actually balanced around the player having it

Not sure if it works, but IIRC I learnt from the Japanese side of things that shoulder cannons can be Overboost-canceled by slamming Overboost just before you want to switch the weapon. That's assuming the Cronus core has Overboost. I could be wrong.

@@loopstratos4619 One Japanese Third Gen AC wiki. But of course, the JP folks are pros and have extremely fast reaction speed on another level so I would take what they say with a grain of salt.

Something new for me to test. I already learned about a laser spam technique that uses energy extensions from a Japanese channel.

@@RenkaKurogane kzbin.info "outlaw laser" shows it. He used the cerberus, but I could only get it to work with the chimera

Why does it feel like the grenade rifles were more accurate on Bolt than Certainty...? How bad is the spread on those things?

That recoils like OOF Yet small lockbox and the arms aim stability is kinda....underperform(?) Even standby aiming with shoulder Grenade Launcher still wiggly My suspect is the build itself, especially the arms

Almost every weapon always aims ahead of the target when fully locked on. Have you noticed the jittering whenever TBM locked on to Certainty? The reason is because Certainty was jittering. Constantly using his boosters just enough to bounce his AC to maintain a consistent altitude. Everytime TBM missed while locked on, it was because at the time he fired, Certainty was going up, even though it was for a fraction of a second. Bolt's moments are consistent and are not at all jittery.

So why do you use the PS2 version over Last Raven? What are the pros and cons of each, even if you're emulating?

The PS2 version is 60FPS with great controls, and all parts are in the game to use. On an emulator, the existing ROMs (last I checked) are notorious for acting up badly, requiring you to play doctor with the program to hopefully find the cause and make it act normal. The PsP version is 30FPS and has controls limited by the PSP's lack of buttons, which mesh well for any AC game before Nexus, where everything was rebalanced to knee cap the extreme mobility and to balance dual wielding weapons as it became the norm. Because the controls are a lesser form of Type B, you cannot use inside parts anytime like you can with Type A controls or like literally every NPC you fight. It also has a few extra arena opponents to fight. Not only that, Last Raven portable for some reason the optional part that makes your lock box bigger doesn't work. Your lock box will be small and doesn't mesh well with how things are in Last Raven with the controls you have. The PsP version has more parts, some of which were based off a graphic novel at the time while others are from AC2 and AC1, but these new parts that are unlocked from the previous two portable games are only obtainable in the portable games they're from. Sure the issue is circumvented thanks to someone sharing his 110% save file with all parts unlocked on Gamefaqs, but the fact remains. On an emulator, the existing ROMs are notorious for acting up badly. Worse than the PS2 one in fact since it is borderline unplayable. Crashing frequently in most(?) missions. THANKFULLY someone on the web has found the way to make it act right. It's through the use of cheat codes, one of which will disable a system that's causing the crashes. He also gives the codes to activate the OP-I with all of its abilities. While the PsP version has more* stuff, it is drug down by a few BIG things, not including the FPS, that makes it easily the worst version of the two. It is also the easiest to emulate. TBM is playing on his PS2.

the tracking for grenade rifles overcompensates way too much look how it misses certainty even though he is barely moving

It's not that the grenades are overcompensating. It's that Certainty is moving too much. You see the jittering whenever TBM locks on to him? That was all Certainty. He's using his boosters just enough to bounce his AC to maintain a consistent elevation. Every time TBM missed while locked on, it was because at the time he fired, Certainty was going up. Where as Bolt from earlier was doing no such thing while flying up. His his movements were more consistent, he got hit more easily.

Grenades are not long distance man they are mid to close range , You cant allways use the same style of fighting on every single AC just trying to help you out man . Each ac has a different style of fighting you got to stop using every ac with that backing away going long range .
