@@ionobruyessir. It was also the reason Ned spreads the word of god. He pushed homer off a trampoline just in time to be struck by lightning, meets either jesus or god (one of the two) and hes allowed to live if he spreads his word. He also gets a nasty scar on his lip so thats why hes got the stache

This is because time functions in a very fluid and flexible manner in the Simpson.The characters don't age in real time, even though the show has been on the air since 1989. For instance, Bart is always 10 years old, and Homer is always around 39-40, regardless of how many years pass in the real world. This phenomenon is sometimes referred to as "animated time," where characters remain stuck in their specific ages while the world around them changes. Despite this timelessness, the show does acknowledge the passage of real-world time and events. The Simpsons' world often reflects contemporary culture, technology, and politics. The family has lived through various decades, but their history and backstories are sometimes revised to fit modern times. For example, Homer and Marge's early dating years have been retconned from 70s to the 90s So, time in the Simpsons is both frozen for the characters and adaptable for the setting, allowing for cultural relevance while maintaining the core dynamics of the show.

The irony is that this is truly based on how the human brain actually responds to this form of abuse. Abusing children in moments of expression only reinforces that their expressions are “wrong” or “unnatural”. Furthermore parents expressing these forms of abuse as “love” misaligns what real love is for the child and creates a self destructive dynamic in which a person doesnt understand healthy love or how to treat themselves with it. Gotta love it

Or the fraudulent paper on the relationship between childhood obesity and watching tv in bed, or John Bohannon’s fake cancer research papers. @@jimmythe-gent lmao what a spineless and meek response like, we all knew you were going to respond in this exact way, but it's just... sad. "hard evidence?" "yeah there's tons." "i don't accept this, there is no evidence, here's some cherrypicking." that information is going to exist and continue to be factual whether or not a commenter on youtube accepts them, least of all when it's just... fallacies? like several different ones? this post is Oops! All Fallacies!
@jimmythe-gent
@jimmythe-gent 2 ай бұрын
@@iMajoraGaming why so hostile? Is this personal for you? If that’s the case then I apologize. I was just highlighting the ambiguity of this field of study. I asked for evidence and they said there were studies done- but no source was mentioned. So I pointed out that there are plenty of published studies that are nonsense; deliberate nonsense. Nothing was cherry-picked. There are literally thousands of peer-reviewed research papers published that are verifiably false. There’s no scientific consensus on this. I’m not saying the conclusions drawn are wrong. In fact, it’s likely they’re perfectly reasonable, but anyone drawing hard conclusions is immediately suspect. That’s all… Really didn’t seem like it was a big deal. And what on earth is “we all knew…” lol? _who_ all? You’re pretty good at drawing conclusions with zero evidence yourself. I don’t really understand why this upset you so much when even the person I was actually speaking to wasn’t this aggressive… I’m just going to assume what I said about this being personal for you hit pretty close to the mark- and it’s not just that you hate when people offer dissenting opinions. Good luck to you.

This is in fact child abuse. He is traumatized. He pretends to be fine but he isn't. Children learn nothing from abuse. When you think it's "fixed them" or they "learned their lesson" all you have done is put them in a trauma response. Which can look like good behavior but it's just fawning. If you need your kid to learn a lesson use your words like an adult. Don't destroy your kids brain development. If you didn't want to be a good parent don't have kids. Don't beat kids!
