@@hirdbarding3399 Honestly in my readings of the Silmarillion, Children of Hurin, etc I've never seen a specific mention of Olorin aka Gandalf the Maia in any major battles and being the Istari (Wizards) were sent to advise and inspire, not to enthrall and dominate with their power, I don't think Gandalf had any notable battles before the third age. Could be wrong though, what with Chris' adding to and revising his Dad's works through his notes and letters.

I'm surprised that House of the Dragon has found an audience with such weak plot/story and a total absence of the kinds of great characters that GOT had. Which reminds me, it was a serious mistake to age Rheanera and use a new actress. Just one of the numerous F*ck ups this show presented us with in a non stop succession from start to finish. These videos by Charlie are the only thing that redeems the show at all.

Emma D’arcy is SUPERB. This is a show about a woman’s Iron Throne. Rhaenrya is reluctant and contemplative, she knows her choices can doom them all. A lot more gravity and weight compared to the foolery we’ve already seen.
