For the next time, my advice for you about snare synthesis (for what I know) is that if you want a punchy snare (like the 808s or 909s or most drum machines really), the pitch envelope shouldn't be very pronounced, something between 6 and 24 semitones should do the trick, and it should be a little longer than a kick's pitch envelope. Maybe you could FM the very first milliseconds to give it more snap. This for the transient of the sound, for the body just add white noise and maybe some bandpassing/hipassing to get rid of unwanted frequencies. If you want a good read on the subject, there is a ton of information on old Sound On Sound articles about drum synthesis, and how it was achieved in specific popular drum machine, I think you should still be able to find those.
