So funny story, I got scorched without ever having gone to ragnarock. (And I played singleplayer at the time) and had no clue about rock golems. Well cut to my third day of playing scorched, just out scouting for metal on my raptor. See a few nodes with a rock in the center of them, come walking up to pick up like 20 for a pike and out pops the golem from that plain rock. I don't normally get scared from video games, but in that moment I nearly shit my self. Then just stared at it in awe and confusion from a distance once I got away. RIP raptorzilla, your death gave me the chance to survive.

These videos, the voice acting, the montages, it's all sooo on point! I think it deserves something more grand. Here is my suggestions, you actually have some modders (the community is full of talented people), create an Ark mod that INSERTS these videos into the game when you trigger it's correlating explorer note. I suggest halting the XP multiplier until your cutscene is over. This way the player can enjoy the cutscene without losing time on the XP bonus. You could just insert the voice acting as a read of the note, or you could make it a whole cutscene with the voice acting! Personally, I would add that mod on my server. Does anyone else agree with me?

That was amazing! I did guess you’d pull the first parts of Rockwell’s transformation into the Lovecraftian horror he is now with the Corruption Skin of Extinction and the Corrupted Survivor Skin of Genesis Part 2, and Gen2 did give you much to work with. I’m also still convinced you will personally voice Santiago in Extinction like you did before instead of a Vin Diesel soundalike. Not every survivor needs an in-canon voice representation. The ending sneak peek was also bone-chilling. Hearing Helena’s hurt that the one friend she had turned out to be such a monster on the inside now becoming the outside was absolutely powerful. Can’t wait to see how you tackle Helena, Rockwell, Mei-Yin, Diana, and the Students in Aberration.

Not only the best way to learn about the lore, but the greatest effort of storytelling via editing, body acting in game, and voice acting. I absolutely love this little mini series. I currently am playing scorched as well with friends, so having Raia's video out fixes the issues that I have with reading them. I cannot wait for Rockwell's decent into madness, and I'm so excited for Aberration as its my favorite and yet my least finished map. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't feeling the hype from the end of this video. Because of this project, you have inspired me and a friend to try our hand at doing a playthrough and progressing through the arks, ascending, and doing our own storyboard to become hopefully a comic later. We have beaten the Island so far. Please keep up the amazing work, Neddy, and to those that provide the voice acting and body acting in game as well.
