Anambra currently does not even pay up to 30,000 naira as minimum wage and from a recent interview on Arise I think Anambra pays 24,000 naira although I must also state that this is not caused by Peter Obi however, it shows how Edo cares for its workers even more than your Federal government. Why haven't they stopped d wastage of paying ex-governors & Deputies if they truly mean well for d masses? Edo state is among Niger Delta/oil producing states & gets part of d 13% derivation in addition to their normal FAAC allocation. I doubt Abia state is. Your analysis is a far cry from the truth. What is at play there is a dichotomy between support for Peter obi as Labour Party fresidential aspirant and support for Aparta as Labour governorship aspirant. The concept of Obidients as a consciousness is not based on party affiliation but as a concept of the right personality with the proven ability to do the job . In the last presidential election the preferred candidate was Peter Obi not because he was the flag bearer of Labour Party but more because of his proven track record thereby making party affiliation not a deciding factor.

The winner of Edo state governorship election will emerge from either the PDP or the Labour Party. APC will go no where. This is because of the bad experience Edo state had with the Apc under the Buhari and now the Tinubu government. Oga Ned, this is not a matter of big English. Zoning is in operation, and the governorship has been zoned to Esan, Labour should have picked a candidate from Esan and not Oredo. Akpata will not win Edo North , Edo Central or Edo South. he may not even win his ward. I say this as a neutral.
