Then you started actually spending your points to upgrade your skills, learned to equip/supply yourself, and became able to pull off missions by yourself. Now you're educating the other guys on game mechanics AND you built one of the only successful horde bases in NG history (with no deaths for the whole night)? Who even are you anymore? I love it. Congrats, m'man! And Merry Christmas to the whole Neebs Crew, editors, and anyone else involved. Thanks for this Christmas gift/miracle. I feel like we need a supercut of Simon doing bad and then in the later half shows his small bits of progress. He's also been getting into ARK since they play that a lot as well, making a plan and following through with taking an Alpha away from the camp without endangering other tames lives. It'd be a great supercut journey to watch imo

Guys, I think this might be the best defensive hoard base you ever had. Most of the injuries were your own dang fault for jumping off at an odd angle, and get this: No one died! I remember Dora having some kind of beer can base that did well, (I think) but it didn't do THIS well. This shows Simon really knows what he's doin'!

You gotta remember that this is early and Dora’s beer base was in late game darkness falls. There were demons throwing fireballs and it still stood up. They’re both great and I’m proud of Simon but I don’t feel like saying this one stood up better is a fair statement.

Dora's base was in darkness falls, arguably one of the hardest seven days mods at the time. It also didn't just face bog standard zombies. So it did way better than this one.

To be fair Simon did really solid once he locked in for the cul-de-sac series and he did that all on his own hanging in longer then expected. Also helped build some better bases with Khaine even though they weren't flawless nights they held up well to end game darkness falls. It seems like Simon picked up some more mechanics after those two series. Merry Christmas!!

I feel like Simon's turn towards greatness started in the alone-ish series where he was teamed with the goat thick44 R.I.P to the wyvern king, thick kinda screwed the pooch in that series while Simon genuinely had good ideas and was trying. After the tragedy that followed Simon's kinda taken in the spirit of thick44 and has become a man warrior himself. Caterpillar to butterfly so to speak.

Simon definitely gets the MVP for this horde. Not only did no one die, but he actually built a functioning tower base that uses 7DTD zombie pathing mechanics. Aside from Appsro, who knows a lot about the crafting mechanics of the game, I'd say he is the most knowledgeable on how the game works. Loving this new and improved Simon. And he still uses the Sledgehammer, probably out of spite?
