The windows dim to help with performance in cities with skyscrapers. They do not have to load anything behind windows into memory until you get close. It was either A21 or 1.0 for that change.

First off, WOW! That base was absolutely incredible. Second, the room that you didn't know what the world was going on at 15:50 was (I believe) a tribute room to MC Escher. There's also a T5(?) POI that you get sent to in 1.0 that pays homage to him as well.

There’s way around it, but it will take time to build those structures. I recommend you check out this guy called “JaWoodle” and look at his underground base shorts. 👍👍

TFP need this guy to make a subway system. it'd be cool to see an underground portion undearneath cities. tunnels, trains, underground pathing from one side of the city to the other, even connect them to other cities. it'd be rough to implement with RWG, but i think it'd be worth it. i played surroundead recently, and didnt discover the subway system until later game. its an entire subway network that connects each city to each other, and if 7 days had something similar i'd shit my pants with excitement.
