My best friend, Valentin Bartos was from Cluj Napoca, Romania. His family migrated to Canada in 90s and we got acquitted when I studied there with him. That was life long relationship(friendship/brotherhood). He died in 2019 at age of 38 from liver failure. Unfortunately sometimes the best people in our lives are being takrn aeay from us early. I used to have a business in Romania in the early 90s, I met the best people. We had a joke, you went into a restaraunt and looked at the menu that would be 20 pages long. But, the only thing they had in stock was choirba (sp?). This was a very nice meat and vegetable soup. How things have changed, but the joke was worth it.
