Who cares about the technique, the only things that matters is the power and how hard you can hit without making it fall over.. If you want technique you can hit a pillow stuck to the wall. He punches it softly on purpose so it doesn't fall over because the video is sponsored.

I've worked out on traditional heavy bags kzbin.infoUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

I bought this based on your review. Feels more authentic than any free standing bag I've tried. Super quiet too. I think people who live in apartments with people below them can get away with using this. It's more quiet than a Cobra bag. Anyway thanks! I appreciate the recommendation.

I filled one of these (different name but looks identical) with sand. With the 100+ pounds of sand, suction cups on a smooth surface, and the springs which help with absorbing your punches it's very unlikely you'll knock over the bag. I personally think this bag's engineering is much better than most standing heavy bags in the same price point. At most, the bag rocks slightly when throwing heavy straights. I only box, so I haven't kicked the bag. Time will tell on durability, but so far so good. If hanging heavy bags aren't an option, I think you'll be surprised with the quality especially for the price. I bought mine in December for $145, so prices fluctuate quite a bit.

Some truth to that
@huntingwolf204 жыл бұрын
Hard to uppercut on any heavybag to be honest, unless it's a short 40 pound bag and have it hung high. I'm no Muay Thai guy so I can't speak on knees. But an uppercut thrown properly in boxing is really hard to do on a heavybag as it's really going to be more of a grazing punch. Shovel hooks or shovel uppercut to the body works though.
Also, let me ask you... What if you want to put this on a rug or carpet ? You wouldn't be able to use the suction cups, but I sort of have heavy hands like you. Do you think it would topple over if you didn't use the suction on your concrete floor there ? Thanks again!

I have a brand similar to this version, and it’s not easy to move at all once it’s filled. You have to either tilt the bag, which isn’t good for the screws and washers, or you have to get really low to push it. I don’t recommend moving it unless you have to. Still overall a good bag tho

How is this bag holding up? I bought a wave master xxl bag without the stand from a friend and love it. Just have to figure out a replacement stand for it.

Thanks for this and other reviews. How's it holding on, after a year or so? Is it durable?
@csquaredboxing3 жыл бұрын
Holding up well, padding is breaking down a little though

Since I cant go to gym now and cant hang a heavy bag at my home. Do you think this will hold up to a standard Heavy bag training regiment with constant hard hits and abuse a regular bag takes? Will the plastic and hardware on this bag last? or do you think there is another option in the price range to take more abuse over time?

For anyone who has this, or a similar bag with sand instead of water, how many bags of sand does it need? I'll be looking at Lowe's.

im looking for one without suspension so it moves as little as possible
@Danger82552 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Not for heavy weights. I tried it and no bueno. 6ft 3 and found that it just can't take the big hits.

I don't have a flat floor for the suction cups. I'm planning to use it in my yard. I'm wondering if using just water for the base will be enough weight to be able to be used efficiently without it tipping over?
@csquaredboxing3 жыл бұрын
It’ll tip over without suction especially with hard hits

Hi, the instructions on Amazon suggest buying the bag a minimum 10 cm smaller than one‘s height - any ideas why? Thanks!

Which do you thing is best in terms of overall usefulness? This or the sparbar? I Know they are for different purposes. But if you could only choose one, what would it be and why?
@csquaredboxing4 жыл бұрын
This one because you can do more with a punching bag imo than a spinning bar

@@csquaredboxing thanks for the response. I'm considering buying this! Good looking out
