Hi guys ........ . Keep in mind this is a separation program, not a depth program. When you introduce filters like FE and F2 then you mask iron signals, but also mask nonferrous items near the nails. Try it yourself, dig up some nasty hand forged square nails and you will be amazed at their masking ability in your nail tests running discrimination. Just dumping your FE and F2 and running all metal and listing to the iron helps grab a few extra masked items a day in heavy iron. Also remember that iron drags down VDI, so for instance a seated dime will ring in at 18 or 19 in nails instead of the usual 26/27. But at least you heard it. I dig all repeatable signals that stay constant as I circle them, and they hit both ways. Lots of practice and you will be pulling stuff right up on the lip of the cellar!!! Good luck.

I have a very similar program for field 2 mainly and I use it all the time on pasture. It is slightly more advanced than that one but I agree with the settings. I even use field 2 on wet sand with my settings as well as beach 2. On tests on pasture my Nox beat the Legend, Deus 2, Simplex and Apex by a long way. (Other guys with their machines on a buried target. ) I found 2 ancient bucket listers in the past 10 weeks with the Nox using my modified program on Field 2 and Beach 2. I use the Coiltek 10x5 for smallish areas and the 11” on bigger expanses. Target density decides which coil. Same program on each so all my modes sound the same which makes comparing much easier. In air tests and on easy soil or dry sand Park 1 is deepest but in most soils that Feld 2 program goes deeper👍

Today is Friday the 9th heading to a field today and been using my deus two and it is a beast for junk and or open areas will try both today including the equinox 800 w this program Lived the beach program I grabbed from u 4 miami

hi, great video, about to look at settings, just want to let u know that a factory reset can be done to a single program, like park, field, etc. instead of a complete factory reset ti the whole unit. cant wait to see the settings, unfortunatelly i mess w my field 1 already and going to have to use field 2 instead.

I would have agreed w/you until I used this program but it works pretty good too. I do like Park 1 for coins though.

From the Manual: The Iron Bias FE and Iron Bias F2 settings profiles are independent. When Iron Bias FE is selected, the Iron Bias F2 setting has no effect, and vice versa. It doesn't mean both shouldn’t use the same settings, just users need to be aware you have to manually switch to one or the other to use it.

I'm just a tad confused about one thing since I've never saved a profile on any of my machines. I have the 800.. You set up the relic profile on Field 1 & Field 2. Don't the settings follow you as you change programs? If you set up this relic program under Field 1 then decided to click over to Beach 2, what setting would that have? If what you did is the 'correct' way, we would have 8 different profiles, right? (I know this has been discussed elsewhere to death probably but I wanted to ask personally, in my words). Thanks for the videos, I've been enjoying them.

If you set up each search program differently the machine will remember your settings. However, if you want to quickly check something against (lets say) the beach program but you are in Park 1, then you would have to click over to the beach program which is numerous pushes of the buttons to get there. If you save off your beach program in your extra profile its literally 1 push of the button to check and 1 push of the button to go back to Park 1. Thats how I mostly use it.

I just bought my first detector, a equinox 600. Does this work on that one aswell? When I go into the menu (long press gear button and the number 4 comes on), I'm not able to move past the first one. When pressing the Check/X button, it give a kinda dark beep, and it won't change. Please help if you know what I'm doing wrong. Edit: It's the same when going into Target Tone. I can't change past "t1". Just gives a dark beep.

Yes you are limited with the 600 you will not be able to use the program. The 800 has more configuration options.

Yes it will but there will be certain coins you might miss. Its really set up for U.S. coins.
