I own the Sheath (I've had a few generations) and this year's Sheath is by far the best it's ever been. One thing I disagree with you on is the fit. My case in particular (I have the black Sheath), fits incredibly snug, and it takes more effort to take off the phone, which I think is a good thing. The MagSafe is also stronger than I feel you presented on. Overall, it's one of the best cases on the market for the price: Awesome feel and construction, great MagSafe, clicky metallic buttons (that don't rattle), scratch resistant, and overall great handling!

It also did very well and everything Apple pros 50 foot drop, even better than the other CAUDABE case that he dropped., The synthesis.

The link in the description says Caudabe case, but clicking the link just takes me to a general search on amazon.

I have a caduabe sheath on my iphone 15. It's survived probably 30 drops from 6 feet and still going strong. My screen protector has a ton of cracks due to the many drops. However, the case does protect immensely. I would recommend this case any day over a Rhinoshield. That product is trash.

As others have said, this case is awesome and I've had the last few versions of it. Wouldn't disagree with his measurements, but some anecdotal data points. I've dropped my phone multiple times from about 3-4 feet in this case (usually onto wood or grass) and it has come away without any damage. Maybe that's different on a hard surface like concrete, but for me this is more durable than it looks. Also the grip is awesome.

I will search your channel to see if you’ve reviewed any of the Apple cases for the iPhone 16. Reviews are great, but I believe they are more scientific when they are compared against a common standard. Measuring anything in mm works because people have agreed to what a mm is. Instead of comparing any case against any or every other case, comparing against an agreed upon standard, good or bad, I believe will help viewers make better decisions (the goal of your channel, correct?). Thanks!

Thanks for this review! This is the case I was interested in for when I upgrade, I mainly just want to add some grip to my phone because these glass back phones are just slippery.

does it feel like plastic or rubber?
@roberthawkins28097 сағат бұрын
If it’s the same material as their iPhone 12 version, I’d say 90% plastic 10% rubber. It’s disappointingly slick despite the rough texture. It completely lacks the tension of a rubbery case on your skin. It’s so slick and hard-plasticky that despite having VERY strong magnets, MagSafe accessories will rotate extremely easily on the back. A hard flick will make my battery pack do a 270° rotation.

Will you do the new Mouse limitless with camera button?

Would love reviews of cases with camera control button. Like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T, Mous Limitless 6.0 with the new button, the Bare Armour Case or the dbrand Ghost case 2.0.

Nice to see. I’ve been using Caudabe since the 12 (I think it was from a vid you recommended them lol) Switching to floating buttons is the best thing they’ve done yet. Really the only thing to make them perfect would be having a proper camera button instead of just a hole (it’s still miles better than a huge gap like a ton of cases did lmao) That said it’s unfortunate if the Sheath is thicker on the back than the front. I have the Paragon and it’s also like that and it just feels odd to me, but maybe it’s the back of it I guess (not huge on that texture). I also got the Synthesis which I liked more in the 14 and I also like it more than the Paragon, and decided to grab a Sheath to see how this one fares vs the last ones. Notably the Synthesis is not thicker on the back vs Sheath or Paragon The Veil is also an option. Ridiculously thin. I love it, however the dealbreaker to me is that it has no buttons and I will just never use a case without buttons. If they put floating buttons on it I’d use it even if it offers virtually zero protection lol

The tineeowl case looks similar to this and at like $12 on Amazon I thinks it’s my favorite I’ve been able to find.

LOVE YOUR REVIEWS! Can I ask you a somewhat unrelated question. Which size/model iPhone is the natural titanium? Is that your personal phone? Wondering what you actually use. Thanks eh!

How does the texture compare to that of Caudabe’s iPhone 12 Pro case? Mine has a very rough texture and sounds the same when rubbed, but it is anything BUT grippy. It’s one of the slickest cases I own, second only to the Mous Limitless 4.0, and I have to squeeze it tightly to keep it from slipping. Meanwhile my MagBak case is smooth but super grippy and requires almost zero pressure to hold. If placed on the back of my hand, I can rotate to nearly a 45° angle before it starts to slide off. I prefer the Caudabe Sheath’s look to all my other cases, but the slickness is just too frustrating. It sits in a drawer for 50 weeks out of the year.

I can't stand the sharp corners by the camera button. I don't care about camera buttons except when it's uncomfortable to hold. I buy this for all my phones except the 16 pro
