i got an otterbox defender for my kid's first phone, many many years ago--that thing was amazing, and the 5c never broke, not even a little bit. also got a defender that may have been a counterfeit for their 2nd phone but that thing was pretty, really very good, too. not getting these things anymore tho; they are def not the same quality. that yuge frikkin chasm on the side of this one is absurd.

Yeah, not a chance I’d buy this case. A family member got a new 16, and I told them do not get this case. I pointed them towards the spiegen cases that actually built a button into the case. I’ve always been a fan of otterbox(I’m typing this now on a phone with an otterbox case) but every now and then companies make a questionable design decision.

I got a otterBox case for my iPhone 7 and still using it , and it’s great, if someone wears , I called them up and get a new one 🎉

Hi, I love your videos because you actually try and test them the products. Btw, could you try the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T Magfit and the new Dbrand case (The ghost 2.0). I’ve been using a Flolab Surtect Trifusion for my iPhone 16 Pro since release and the only caveat is that the back gets scratched and that it has a capture button cutout instead of just the button. That’s why I would love it if you try out these two cases (never used them), since they have a camera control button and claim not to be scratchable (especially, the Ghost Case). I am sorry for my grammar mistakes since I am not native.

Was hoping you’d cover this, but didn’t see it coming. Another banger ❤ For the first time……think I may hold off on this one. Hoping they release an updated version with a Camera Control button and fill in that bare cutout. But have yet to even get my iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max. So we’ll see…

I really like otter cases but this is the worst design I’ve ever seen. I own this case and the camera button cut out is unacceptable and makes the case hard to hold on to and vulnerable. I would not recommend this case.

They need to pay Apple a license and put in the sapphire button for camera.

I really don’t think that’s necessary, I just think Otterbox was a little lazy here with the design(and I like otterbox cases). There are other cases out there that have used a sapphire button(Spiegen is a notable quality one) - so it’s not some proprietary thing only Apple can use in designing cases.

Otterbox products are not what they used to be. It seems they’re more interested in offering every color and graphic pattern under the sun, while neglecting the basic industrial design and quality control of their offerings.
