@borndead19973 жыл бұрын
@@LongMayYouRun yes, I would say you could definitely play a coffee shop type gig with a 40W Rumble. Its got plenty of power for that size of place. I would say the 40 would be the smallest one to get for that setting.

I bought the 40 and the first day it was home it shut off on its own. Later it would turn back on. Several days later I played it and turned it off. Came back the next day and it wouldn't turn on. Tried everything. Took it back to guitar center under warranty swapped it out for a 100 and paid the difference. Couldn't be more happy.

Lee says that the small combo shown is the Rumble 25 yet tells Nathan that it has a 10" speaker. However, the 25 has an 8" speaker. If the combo shown has a 10" speaker it is actually the Rumble 40, not the 25. :-)

I couldn't help compare it to my first ever bass amp I bought in 1975 - 50W Fender Bassman with a 2x12" cab - I think it weighed more than me at the time 🙂. Rumble matches and surpasses it. Love it. Can't wait to start gigging with it. Great demo and playing Nathan and Lee 😎

Hey guys! I think it would be really helpful for you to make a video which demo these amps by speaker size. I've just been turned on to how vastly different a 10" sounds from a 12"... Any venue with a good sound man and sound system should run your bass rig through a d.i. I usually run my E.Q. Bass at 8'oclock, low mid and high mid at 10'oclock and my treble halfway. With the contour and vintage switch pushed in and tweeter off. That usually does the trick.

@Rik-Ahbece5 жыл бұрын
Well it really depends on what you define as 'the same amp'. The 40 doesn't have a effectsloop, the 100/200/500 do. The 100 doesn't have a horn switch or a external speaker socket, the 200 and 500 do. Maybe they ment the amp structure is the same from the 40 and up, just different values.. Who knows.
