I really liked Pro Street. Played Undercover a lot, it was fine but I can't say it was great. HP 2010 was the first game with the shitty driving physics, it was meh... SHIFT was ok, SHIFT 2 meh. After that, it's just shit a dumb "long" race (The Run) with shooting SUVs which had no people inside. MW2012 was pure shit, same goes for Rivals... NFS2015 kicked in, still shitty... the customization is not even close to NFSU2 considering some cars had a very limited number of mods. the performance tuning thing was useless, Grip = understeer. Police chases are a joke. Some people may point the small map, but I'm ok with that one. I expect the next NFS to be a little more fancy version of the 2015/16 one.

I recently got the Wii version at my local GoodWill for $3, and no matter what control setup I've tired I don't care for it what so ever, and wish they had included Wii classic controller support, and/or GameCube controller support, so I will be looking for the GameCube version since I don't own any Sony, or Microsoft consoles at present since I'm mostly a retro gamer along with Nintendo(handheld and console), and PC.

They cost 28$ to produce in the first two years after release, which lead to some games costing TWICE as much as the PS1 version! I mean, can you imagine the reaction of people seeing a game being sold for a 3 digit price? o_O I guess the Nintendo CEO was used to having a monopoly and having the Sega Saturn as competition...

Camilo Montolio Something outselling something on launch-day is nothing to compare something by; same thing with pre-ordering games. The PS1 outsold the N64 3(!) times: PS1: 102,5 million N64: 33 million The N64 only sold these units due to being Nintendo's first 3D capable console and people wanting to buy a console from a company they knew. (And Super Mario 64)

If you haven't updated your game version to the latest patch via sites like moddb, nfscars etc, the resolution will be strecthed to fit your monitor's native resolution, but it's not actually running at a 16:9 resolution.

Really no wide screens back in 06, then explain how I had a 19in ACER 16:10 LCD monitor at 1440x900 60Hz with both DVI and VGA inputs, and I also had a 19in 720p 60Hz Polaroid HDTV with VGA, 1 HDMI, Composite, Component, RF, and 3.5mm(input and output), and had both of them hooked up to my PC on Windows XP before upgrading to Vista in early 07.

Can't believe you didn't point out the fact PS2 and PS3 got an exclusive visual light effect that is basically the same as midnight club 3 dub edition light trail effect, though not as unrealistic as midnight club's, but it's there. it's on the 360 but barely. Wow such ignorance. PS3 version is the best version of Carbon hands down. Don't get me wrong, I'm talking from a pure technical perspective (and without mods either, but that's a whole other story). I know the ins and outs of this game and on PC they cheaped out on shaders (Pixel and vertex shader model 2.0, PS3 and 360 have 3.0). Not only that, movies on PC are on par with the OG Xbox video quality. On 360 they're wmv 720p videos which look pretty good, but PS3 has the highest quality videos (MPEG, 720p or maybe even higher). I've hacked my fair share of this game that I can safely say that the PC version was botched sadly. There are hopes to get those shaders running in the PC version, but that's unlikely as of now since we do need source code for those shaders. Not only the shaders, but some textures as well. Console versions could be modded the same way like PC version, we just need to figure out the so-called Disculator filesystem so we can extract the data properly for modding.

+Gamer Dude pH yeah. You are going to make comparison videos too? I'd suggest soft modding your ps2, xbox, gamecube and wii to be able to play burnt copies of the games so you don't have to buy them. Not saying I do that, but it's the cheapest route.
