My theory is that San Juan was their test environment (since it is the most detailed area of the game, which means they were probably testing different building styles or something similar and all of these cars that you showed us were not in the final game).

It is possible that Sal was meant to be a boss . He does drive an extremely fast car and is difficult to beat with him not active in a race .

Messor XV You have a point here, but actually all crew members, who are scouts or drafters are extremely fast. If you think about what is their purpose in the game, you will understand why they should be fast. The scout navigates you and shows the shortcuts, so they need to be in front of you, no matter what, so that's why they must be fast. The drafter... simply "draft" for you( you get me what I mean), so again they need to be in front of you and be fast as possible.

I have a theory! Those guys u first mentioned that look like sals T2 cars can be a crew members of the crew thats removed from final game. The possible crew names: 1. The Trust(75%) 2. Le Samurai(24%) 3. Fortuna(1%) I mostly think that they were members of The Trust that only races in Salzar Street race. Other 2 has low chances of that beying the accualy crew of their. So at the end of a day theres only 2 things: 1. Either crew The Trust accualy is in a game, but races only in Salzar Street race 2. Or there is no crew and these guys are used as Easter Egg or something for 1 of 3 their beta crews that they decided to remove. Thanks for listening p.s. Crepalus Naturalis or maybe we could race in San Juan as well as it's another borough but u can't drive there accurately you have to glitch your self out of the map by that bus station where car lot is so my theory is that San Juan was supposed to be one of territory but it was cut and placed away from the current map that we know now ass well as those canyons and drift tracks that doesn't make any sense throwing them somewhere on the map and then just spawn back into original also the tutorial was in San Juan and the mystery city is the city from underground 2

except there is no proof and it takes a pretty big jump saying sal = salazar when he is never called salazar and is only named sal. that theory also falls apart when you kinda realise that a streets actual name wouldn't be named after a criminal who was racing on it. there is no proof towards the sal = salazar and it seems like quite a big unjustified jump to conclusion

One more thing to notice. All player crew members except Neville and Sal belong to their past crews Nikki - Stacked Deck Colin - TFK Yumi - Bushido Samson - 21st street What about Neville and Sal? Let's say that they are freebie racers that wanted to join players crew but then how they got their Wingman Skills? Neville knows Blocking and Sal knows Scouting, let's even assume that both of the crew members are freebies with wingman skills then The player should also have those skills to block and scout. So this proves Neville and Sal both were belonging to some crews that doesn't exist in palmont city, but they exist in San Juan. and according to their skills, we can even assume that both were the Bosses of their crews. Or else how come Neville and sal be the best blocker and scout? This can mean that both even ruled the territories of Palmont before the 4 major crews showed up. Because sal knows about every shortcut in any given race of palmont and Neville can block any targeted car anywhere in race. Any freebie wingman won't have this much knowledge and skills of blocking and scouting in a new territory unless they are used to race there. So it's clear. Neville and Sal are 2 bosses of their own crews that once hailed in palmont city until they got defeated by other rising crews and they fled to San Juan to rule there. This give us the plot of NFS Carbon Remastered where San Juan is an accessible area. Player has his crew dominating palmont until all 4 bosses appeared again and took control over their territories again. Player has to dominate all 4 again but also dominate San Juan in order to establish the dominance over the entire state. Having all 6 crew members working together as bosses of players crew and player being the ultimate boss like Darius for the game. Player has to stop their dominance forever.

neville is the worst blocker and sal is the worst scout though :V neville initial crew is "crews/crew_player" sal is muscle and he doesn't start out in a crew. fyi cross is also a drafter by default. does that mean cross belongs and races in crews? ;v crews didn't exist until the player left palmont city the first time.

I think Salazar Street was intended as a boss race during its development, but Sal's crew was early removed so no logo/crew name remains in the game data but the race info you've shown.
