Need For Speed Payback - 30 minutes of Police Pursuit & Escape (Abandoned Mazda RX-7)

Paying homage to Most Wanted 2005's 30 minute pursuit challenge. Here is a 30 minutes of non-stop Hot Pursuit action and escaping them in Need For Speed Payback. The lastest Speedcross DLC update has added an abandoned Mazda RX-7 Spirit R event whereby you need to escape the cops with it. No checkpoints and no time limit, so you can keep the cop chases as long as you want. This event is basically a taste of free roam cops. Just don't get within 1 mile of Airfield 73 because the cops slowdown and get disabled once you reach within this radius.
Featuring Rhinos, Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and Dodge Charger SRT8 with kill switches.

Well, the cop AI is pretty impressive. Similar to Most Wanted 2005. I wouldn't be surprised if Ghost added free roam cops or even removed the checkpoints from Jess's missions.

Rivals cops would slam you even if you were a cop chasing a racer. They have no recognition for the player and will aggressively do anything just to chase down the racer. Can't tell you how many times I've lost a racer cause some random cop car slammed into me and disabled my car, forcing me back to the command post.

Well, the AI knows how to follow and attack very well actually. Some things could be included such as brake-checking, but overall its ok. If its true that this is a test for Freeroam cops, then I think this may be the best NfS weve had since 2007, personally.

Give GhostGames another chance they are learning and they are trying the best. EA is the blame because they rush developers. Look what happen with BlackBox Studio. They made NFS MW2005 and Carbon and now with theyr last game NFS The run and NFS World well you know that part. Or look at Viceral they got killed to. So If anyone listening, let GhostGames to test the cop freeroam with roadblock etc and for they next NFS Game that will be they last if it doesnt bring what the people want but bring something combined for real like a story with Most Wanted with new different blacklists or Carbon fighting for territory, or a different side of story like NFS Underground with sponsors and best Custom to tune your car etc.

Lots of difference actually. There are no free roam cops in Payback and no heat level system. Their tactics are a bit different I think, Payback cops surround you in a group of 4 when you are driving. I haven't played Most Wanted so I don't know what they do

xIVipeRR Mobile Gaming No, if you find the abandoned Rx-7, you have to drive it to your safehouse by evading the cops. Once you reach the safe house, the Rx-7 will be your forever & unlocked at all dealerships. So then you can go to a drift dealership if you want to buy a drift spec Rx-7. If you miss the Rx-7 this week, then you'll have to wait 5 more weeks till it comes back up again as an abandoned car.
