I just realized that last 911 in this intro have Turbo vents in rear arches but no rear spoiler. Standard Carrera wheels. Facelift (Turbo) front lights but pre-facelift Carrera dashboard. List of mistakes goes on so this 911 have never existed! Kinda weird but I love this intro

I always used to think that but then thought maybe I was mad and seeing things. It's definitely a hash-up of Carrera + Turbo. Also in the cutscenes where it jumps it doesn't even have the Turbo rear spoiler but the Carrera's spoiler.

You forgot the focus on releasing it absurdly early with tons of bugs and lacking features, calling it the "Alpha Early Access super deal" and probably never getting to a stage where a nice intro would be appropriate ('cause enough money has been grabbed already).

I was like 5 when I got this game. Idk why I thought he stole these cars lol. The cinematic graphics looked realistic for the time but in less than a decade, ps3 gameplay graphics would surpass this.

The last good offline game of the series, the sound, the in dash details, the historic evolution of the game, the graphics (PC of course) all was outstanding. Despite Hot Pursuit II was a awesome online game Porsche Unleashed was the last one with the unique "gran turismo" essence (the italian concept, not the crappy Sony game). After playing a decent Underground 2, finally moved to FIA GT GTR and Colin McRae series and said goodbye to my beloved NFS series until now.

Ahh the memories. Career mode in this game tought be alot about about investing. Buy a whole lot of cars from the Classic Era to sell in the Golden Era and then from the Golden Era to the Modern Era. Then use the money to modify your cars performance to the max. This game was awesome. It really needs a remake. This game started my live affair with Porsche. Still can't afford one, but one day hopefully.
