Its not the cars.. there were American as well. But it was theme of the game has changed which lead to disliking. I think post Fast and the Furious movie, need for speed derailed from being a simulation game, where more criminal records mean better driver kind of crowd... and less realistic driving. I miss those earlier versions. Thankfully I still have GranTurismo who still stayed true to Driving experience

Such a dreamy atmosphere for driving.. Porsche 2000 or Unleashed was the most realistic of all NFS.
