I figured out how to show the "boss" category in undercover which is like the special category of carbon / prostreet. I also unlocked the collectors edition vinyls in undercover too! just waiting on xan or myself to remove the car limitations on the vinyls before releasing it!

their vinyls. on any car though aslong as xan figures out the car limitations. currently you can only use boss vinyls on the car they are made for. there are also probably some more hidden vinyls too

Well I don't think it's a mystery to me. I mean, from Carbon and on, Black Box started to use vector vinyls to customize your car. I believe it was much easier for them to create a specific wrap for the A.I racers to use rather than creating presets of coordinates for the vinyls to show up on them. So bang, just create unique vinyls available for certain cars, hide them from the player and you got customized opponents

I think this is the reason why devs at Black Box had freedom to put as many layers as they could, whereas us, despite same decal properties, we can only put up to 40 layers total (20 vinyls + 20 decals). Some exclusive stickers like Grip Runners & After Mix logo, they intentionally not adding them as separate stickers.

it was hidden because 1 : that's an entire livery as one file (so u can't technically edit it decal by decal) 2 : each livery is special made for the vehicle UV (that's why the vehicle restrictions)

you can find a copy of all the fully body liveries in the liverytextures file. you need nfstexed to open it. hope that helps

"By default there are only 5 or so per car..." - that's exactly why this menu is hidden from player. Sometimes a wrong vinyl on a wrong car could look kinda goofy and EA didn't wanted to fit them all on every car, I guess. Anyway, nice find. Glad I'm subscribed)

This was probably just a file so the game can easily place vinyls on AI cars. Same thing with other NFS games mentioned. It happens to be accessible because it's the same kind of file/coding that regular vinyl categories are under.

Almost! Not that the game but so the developers could easily add the premade vinyls onto the car presets before saving and exporting them to the tool that can put them into the game files to be used whenever they want!

Hi Speedy, just wondering, will the Vinyls unlocker script for hidden categories in Undercover still be releasing sometime soon? It'd be great to freely have the Boss and Cop vinyls accessible in-game as opposed to hex editing them in, especially considering they are normally unused and completely different to the "Livery" based ones that the original game uses.

I know some of you guys had problems installing the 1.1 patch on NFSPS there's how to make it work 1. Download NFSPROSTREET from Skidrow Reloaded 2. After the installation is complete, download and install 1.1 Patch from: nfscars.net (NFS ProStreet Patch v1.1 (English)) it's the name of the topic 3. DO NOT RUN THE GAME 4. Download Crack no CD 1.1 From Battery. (Google nfsprostreet lonebullet) 5. You're good to go, now run the game, play the first race and quit the game 6. Apply Cheatpatch 1.1 from NFS-Planet 7. After the cheatpatch it's applied, change the name of the .exe for example (prostreet) instead of nfs 8. Now the game should run just fine, apply the cheatcodes and enjoy the new vehicles.

It hurts me that NFS Carbon has an unused "The Sims 2" vinyl. Why did they make this and leave it unused? Why did they put a vinyl with a two-year old game logo? Why is it only visible in the secret debug menu? I don't get it.

Download the Ultimate ASI Loader file, and copy the dll file to the nfs pro street directory, then create a folder called '' scripts '' in the nfs directory and copy the ASI file to that folder (Remember, you need the Patch 1.1 in order to function)

I installed it, I put the scripts folder and the dinput8.dll in my root directory. When I go ingame, and go into Vinyls, I don't see the Special category and when I try to change the size of a vinyl, my game crashes without giving any error message. Help me please :(

yes unfortunately this only works with the english patched .exe and for that you need the original english version that matches... the nfsps patches are such a mess on pc, they didn't even update the game on origin so that version is still 1.0 good luck with figuring it out.

The menu for some reason doesn't feature the red and green(?) ones I've also seen the AI spoting in the menu. It does feature the American flag at least.

The thing works fine with the ProStreet multifix, but it completely ruined the game, the window appears zoomed, makes the game completely shit whatever I do with the graphic settings it remains like that, also the saam-unl cheat for unlocking Stage 4 parts are not working now! I don't have to mention that the can't continue bug is still there If I don't run the game with simpleprogramdebugger. This vinyl unlocker could've been great, If it hadn't ruin the game like this. Fortunately I have back-up files for my original nfs.exe file.

0-0 this doesn't modify the original exe file though. also multifix 100% fixes the continue bug. perhaps you are using the wrong exe version to begin with. simple program debugger isn't even a fix anyway.

Fortunately the zooming problem was made by my graphic card, so I could fix it, also with simpleprogramdebugger it still works great so no probs, but what really fuckes up my mind is still there, the cheats don't work which should unlock the stage 4 parts. :/ I think I should customize the cars with the bonus vinyls, then replace the old nfs.exe file to unlock the stage 4 parts.

you should use the multifix. manually enter your native res into the ini file. the multifix does more than fix the continue button, also "simpleprogrammerdebugger" isn't anyway a fix for the continue button. program debugger is so you can see the running code of the game, the only reason it helps some people is because it speeds their cpu up as more power is required to use it. a cpu speed of 3.4ghz has the least issues with prostreet.
