Needle felting doll legs

Loved the socks! I don't know why I'm not getting my notifications for new vids. I didn't see the foot one either. I'm looking forward to seeing her finished! Do you do some of your dolls jointed at the knee too? I'm just now working on the feet to my big doll, I put a large metal nut in the toe & will have one at the heal as well to weight his feet but I think his extra long legs will have him a bit wobbly anyway. I got your FB page here so I can share those pictures with you of my wip. Don't get me started on the BAD algorithms for my page there... If I don't see a post, I can't find anyone off my friends list & a good deal there I unfollowed but there they are & I can't fix it! Hope the floors come out nice! I've been on a cleaning, no felting kick lately.

Yes sometimes a break is good to get new ideas going. I’d love to try the coraline dolls. I did do some jointed at the knees and they are super fun for sitting dolls. A little more work but I feel they don’t stand well because the get wobbly at the hip and knee. You could use a bead for the knee instead of a button and that works really cute. I follow some really great artists on my Instagram that do bead jointing but I think they must use doll stands.

@@leightfootfelts I'd like to see your take on the Coraline dolls. I am of the mind that jointed knees would only be for sitting type dolls too, I have enough troubles getting really tall dolls to stand yet still be poseable if someone wanted them to sit. I am that someone for now. lol

Well I guess technically mine have wire and can bend the knees but I get nervous about metal breaking going back and forth too much.

As a Canadian, I am fascinated by your accent. Are you in the Midwest US?

Lol yes I have a very nasally accent. It’s terrible though because if I spend ten minutes with someone I start to adopt their accent too. Haha after a week in Alberta I was sounding more Canadian. At least to me. Beautiful country!
