Love how you tried the stitch! I have some multicolor green thread as well, and I was wondering how to use it. This looks perfect! I personally would probably find a pin much easier to use instead of the thread.

Ahmed, this is a very good question! It never happened to me, but I think the leftover thread can be tangled inside the previous stitches of the woven bar. Perhaps it will be visible and can mess the look of the bar a little bit. To avoid this from happening make sure you have a long enough working thread for each bar.
