Needlefelting Practice: Felting a Purple Dragonfly. Experimenting with Iridescence

In this video, I show you how I make a cute dragonfly. I'm not sure that it turned out quite the way I wanted, but I definitely learned some interesting lessons while I was working on it. I experimented with Mod Podge fabric stiffener for the wings (which I think worked pretty well) and also tried to use color to suggest iridescence (which maybe didn't turn out perfectly). This is a good project to work on color blending and smoothing. Grab some wool and needle felt with me!
