Almost 3 years ago I got a call from the VA Hospital (I was in the Navy almost 8 years) and they said I had tested positive for cancer. My 1st thought was that they were joking and that the phone call wasn’t real that I had cancer. But in a few minutes of talking to them they weren’t kidding. My 2nd thought was, “OK God, how do we get through this together?” I put my faith in God with everything I was about to go through. I had a blood bacteria after my 1st round of chemotherapy. I’m alive today by the grace of God. I honestly shouldn’t be alive right now. I should have died when I had cancer, a blood bacteria or when I had a stroke. Something should have killed me then. I thank God for every new day. Tomorrow is never promised us. We never know if today is our last day alive or not.

This is what I love about these guys. All of their harmonies and Bears vocals are always on point. These guys are the real deal. I love that what you see/hear from them recorded is the same thing you get live. No computer or audio tricks. Just pure talent and passion. Can’t say enough positive stuff about them. Well, for me, (I didnt physiacally press the dislike button) but I'm on the fence about it because its almost a whole step lower than the original, and its honestly just not as powerful. So I like the song, and its an "ok" rendition, just nowhere NEAR as good as the original!

Jared Boike personally I like this version just as much as the original, but that might be because I’m a sucker for the mandolin. Johnnyswim’s backup vocals are a strong part of the original though
