I think it's because sometimes Cami is all bark and no bite. She told Marcel that she knew karate, but when Rebekah threatened to kill and took her as hostage to prove a point to Marcel why didn't she use her karate to fight Rebekah. It's not only Rebekah that would walk all over her, Klaus would do it sometimes, Elijah would yell at her sometimes for things that are not her fault, for an example when Cami told Elijah about Hayley's curse he yelled at her like she was a punching bag. Let's face Cami may talk or act tough but deep down she's a doormat. The only thing I like about her was when she slapped Klaus across the face when he takes thing too far and at least Klaus is a gentleman sometimes, when women slap or punch him, he doesn't hit back.

Also, in an interview he was asked, *Who will Klaus choose between Rebecca and Caroline?* And Joseph said, *He loves Caroline too much and he would choose her.* Also, in another interview, Joseph was pissed that Tyler took over his body in S4 of Tvd and had a make out scene with Caroline, because it might be the last and he is sad about it and also that he didn't shoot it with Candace (aka Caroline).

Cami is one of the reasons why we could see the good parts of Klaus. He commited abhorrent crimes and enjoyed inflicting pain but she was the one who brought it to attention that Klaus was as afraid and terrified as others were of him. The whole chasing Katherine for 500 hundred years and then letting her go. Klaus just wanted what was taken from him but he fell into the cycle of violence and he found it quite fitting because as a child all he knew was violence. And was called a weakling. Cami is the biggest reason why I could change my perspective towards Klaus and could understand his side of the story. Cheers writers!!!

Cami is really the only human who can talk shit to Klaus to his face, without him attacking her or retaliating in any way possible. Even Caroline had to be a vampire, and it took time for her to actually stand up to Klaus without him scaring her. Cami didn't take any shit from him, ever. Although, while I did like their relationship, it kind of creeps me out that Klaus is supposed to be in his early to mid 20s, is a thousand years old, but then started falling for a teenage girl who's not even out of High School, a girl who, had he stayed alive, would appear the same age as his daughter by Legacies. He refers to Davina as a child, as does Marcel, but then Caroline was just a year older than Davina when he fell for her. Hayley was at least twenty when they slept together. Their relationship is creepy if you think about it to long. Cami was about 23 in the start of the series. I know that in the grand scheme of things, that doesn't "feel" like a lot to some people, but compare a 17 year old to a 23 year old. Big maturity difference. I personally like Klaus with Cami more because it doesn't feel as creepy as him getting with a High School student.

Am I the only one who loves both Cami and Caroline? I mean I am an intense Klaroline shipper and I was furious that she wasn't in The Originals and that they weren't endgame but I also loved Cami and I am also a Klamille shipper. I admit that Cami annoyed me sometimes especially when she turned into a vampire but nevertheless I loved her and Klaus together and I cried so much when she died. The only thing that irritated me was that the writers sometimes recreated Klaroline scenes and quotes for Klamille. But as a Klaroline shipper I completely don't understand how anyone could harass Leah Pipes, she is such a lovely kind and funny person. This was a foundational aspect of the show that made it work. Yes Klaus was terrible but he spend a significant portion of the show trying to be better and actually does get better. However, it isn't Elijah who accomplishes as we saw his plan with Marcel failed as well. Elijah is toxic in his own way thinking babies solve problems. Camille helps Klaus stop doing dumb shit.
