what is the level of questions asked in isi msqe entrance?, like are they on par with jee advanced level or between jee mains and jee advanced?

Well you can't really compare an engineering MCQ exam with this. Both are completely different. But yes, it would indeed be helpful for PEA(and if luck permits, even PEB) if you know jee level calculus, functions, limits and set theory(other things aren't really required)

For maths, do the class 11, 12 topics from any standard jee level textbook for unacademy lectures. And for statistics, you can go through examples of Fundamentals of Mathematical Statistics by SC GUPTA.
