Summary- 1. Focus on building concepts. 2. Note making is important, for your own understanding Before the exam you should not open books. You need to have extremely comprehensive notes. Write down the notes in your own handwriting, that's how things move into your head. 3. For micro follow one books, the content is mostly the same. For macro, content differs from book to book. 4. Class notes are not enough, make reading a habit. 5. Followed Tomato book and solved relevant problems, for maths and stats. 6. Notes revision- revised 3-4 times for ISI. 2 times for IIT. 7. Condensed the notes from the notes. It was done in the second revision cycle. 8. The more times you flip through the notes, the better you'll learn. 9. Three cycles of past year papers. He was not able to solve it for the 1st time. Process: don't look at the solutions. try to solve on your own, use your head. Delay looking at solutions as much as you can. 10. How many hours did you study? He stayed regular, and made a schedule for the next day. Don't even miss a day. If you do miss it, don't miss it twice in a row. Get back on track quickly. The point is to complete the next day's target. 11. How to handle low days? You can only try your best. Try to stay curious. Don't doubt your potential on low days. 12. Did you attend live class regularly? Yes, and he made notes along the way. Note making is easier in class. 13. General advice. It will be difficult. His words: I'm an average student who worked hard. Summary of summary- Consistency, deliberate practice and the right technique is what got him through.

Upuntill now i havent cleared any of my entrances but i am hopeful i will clear DSE , even in case if i don't make it to anywhere "dukh hoga that's obvious" but i have learnt a lot from you Sir! That 6:00PM Live class i miss a lot , that "hii sarfraz" use to make me feel special and happy :; for those who never attended sir's class it might sound weird ,but this is what it is; That 6:00 PM class not only helps in maintaining consistency but it also feels like a personal bonding. Sir i am like a fish who was on the shore struggling, you came and pushed me back in the ocean, for you it might be just a regular work but for me.... You are not just a great teacher , a great mentor too! Congrats Pranjal & thank You so much sir for everything!

Sarfaraz, thanks for such a beautiful message. It is my wish and my blessing, that you clear this exam. And our work is to show up daily, do our processes daily, results will take care of themselves, they are not in our hands. Keep on working, you will eventually reach a good place.

Could relate completely to the last two paragraphs, Sarfaraz. Nishant Sir reignited my desire in studying. He has sort of brought about a re-birth in me, when i was completely demotivated and demoralised. I am from the 2023 batch, don't know if i will be able to crack any exam or not. But i can assure that if someday i make it big in the field of Economics , it will be a lot due to Nishant Sir. He re-ignited my passion for the subject, and for studies at large..

This was the most needed of all. Will be very very helpful. You teachers are there to guide us, still hearing from the toppers themselves gives a lot of inspiration. Looking forward to interviews of more such gems on your channel..
