Fyi whenever Company 7 Assistant Captain Konro calls Beni “Waka” he’s basically him young lord/young master. Also notice how Benimaru switches everyone’s names like “Gustav Honda” -> “Honda Gustav”; he is a proto-nationalist and follows the traditional Japanese way of saying the surname first whereas everyone has adopted the “new way”, like how Americans do.
