Huh makes you wonder how Loly and Menoly would have reacted to Momo if it was her instead of Orihime that Aizen had brought. Well granted the three of them being Momo, Loly and Menoly would probably have hours long discussion about their idol Captain Aizen. Having Aizen show Orihime the Hogyoku as well as telling her about her power is essentially telling her to try and to destroy it. Well even with how strong Aizen is he was unable to do that no matter how hard he tried.

Grimjow was demoted for a while back there and in his case his power went down becuase tousen ripped off his arm not because he was demoted... so some of the 3 digits might still be as strong as some of the Espadas...

Neel you're mixing something that must be explained so that you don't misunderstand it later. Espada is a title given to the arrancars that have reached and acquired killing abilities that enables them to stand on top of all the other arrancars and hollows and grants them command over hollows and arrancars of lowers strength. Arrancars are hollows that have acquired shinigami abilities but still remain the identities of hollows. The Menos classes are the ones you have to pay close attention. Gillian are the hollow foot soldiers, Adjuchas are the skilled warriors that command legions of Gilligans. At last we have the class of Vasto Lorde which only handful few exist throughout the entirety of hueco mundo. Arrancars can come from any of these 3 classes of menos, and one can distinguish their rank by knowing their Menos class. Arrancars that were once Vasto Lorde are the most powerfull beings of the entire Hueco Mundo. Even if a previous Adjuchas turned into an arrancar was welcomed into the Espada ranks he would still be no match to an arrancar that was once a Vasto Lorde. That being said, not all vasto lordes completely reach the humanoid form, unique physical trait of vasto lordes. Only two Menos members of the Vasto Lord class were able to completely transform into an humanoid form and acquired the title of Espada.

Slight correction here, it's been stated in databooks that MOST of the current Espada were Vasto Lordes before becoming Arrancar. Harribel being outright confirmed to be one, as were Ulqiorra and Szayel Apporo, with it being heavily alluded to that Barragan and Coyote were Vaso Lordes, and Grimmjow was stated to have achieved the rank at some point as well. Frankly, the only ones we CAN'T outright say whether or not they were Vasto Lordes are Yammy, Nnoitra, and Zommari.
