That nyxie blade looks incredibly useful. Hollow ground reverse tantos are my favorite blades, you get a needle-like tip with incredible slicing

QuQu reminds me of a pinecone 😂 and that od green/black P801 should be standard issue for every soldier. The gov't should make a contract for them to give troops a good knife. 14c28n too, thats solid for the price.

That little knife looks fun but not very functional but some will like it because it's different. The Nixie looks like a great 5th pocket knife and like the industrial future look to it. The Ruike P801 is a great knife still one of the best bang for your buck knives out there and a solid work knife. The Demko is a cool design and looks to be a solid work knife but your paying a premium for that lock, and the piss scales I'm not a fan of lol nothing wrong with the material just can't get past that color would have much preferred the black ultem scales. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

The Nyxie 3 looks really good, I wish the plunge grind was 90* similar to Spyderco knives. But won't be an issue to cut in your own little notch it looks like

I thought the P801 was excellent, but I dropped it and broke the tip the day I got it because of how slippery the steel handle was. Good idea to stick G10 on there

Neeve got a question for you sir. People always say D2 doesn't do well with mass production (because of a finicky heat treat if i understand it) so that means it would be best applied in small batch or custom knives, but I don't think anyone would be happy paying those kind of prices for D2. So does it really even have a place in knives? I'm fairly new to all this but it seems to me 14c would be cheaper and make a better product anywhere you find D2. Thoughts?

Chinese D2 is very cheap for them to produce and use and they don’t have to import it. 14c is a higher cost material. Not a lot more, but with the massive quantities they operate with, the smallest of price differences becomes substantial. Even that D2 has its place, because it’s still better than steels below 9cr, which are what they would have used otherwise.

its when you sharpen into the plunge grind and it makes a smile like mark, but theres many other issues that come with it i have videos explaining

The Shark Cub Slicer I picked up is in full titanium. I like it, but must say the handle to blade weight ratio is not good. Makes for not less fidgety deployment (if that is a measurable).
