I like the looks of this one. Price is good too. Thanks for the review & keep nitpicking, we can decide if the little things matter enough to make a difference.

I would recommend this knife or the ferum forge falcon. I still have the ferum forge falcon it's up for trade or sale while I get offers for it.

Parts made by WE? Makes sense. The Stinger looks a lot like the Kitefin without the lanyard hole. I noticed that when I was cleaning some of my knives. Great review. I too really enjoy the Stinger. For me, it's a great fidget knife. True the lock bar is a bit difficult to get to but it isn't too stiff (or abrasive) to unlock.

Its a great knife and i definitely recommend it, ferum forge and we both do great work

My civivi odium which is a ferrum forge design also has a pretty stiff and hard to get to liner lock. That is the biggest downside to that knife otherwise it's fantastic and has a very similar design and shape to the stinger and especially archbishop

Looks like a good knife. Didn't see anything spectacular but it looks like it is well worth the price. Shame they used T6's but hopefully they will fix that on the next knife. Good review as usual. Thanks for sharing it.

Got the very same knife today as a B-Day gift for my cousin, a knife person, and I got to take a look at it. Just slim, light, confortable in any grip and super slicy blade. Solid edc choice in my humble opinion.

Nitro V is an upgraded version of AEB-L, which was developed to use in razor blades. They basically just took AEB-L and added nitrogen. It gets VERY Hard, up to 63-64 Rockwell, and is SUPER tough. AEB-L is wonderful in chef's knives, but it's just barely stainless. Mine definitely stains. The nitrogen in Nitro V helps it be a little more stainless than AEB-L without losing too much of the properties that make it great. 14C28N is very close to Nitro V. They are both great mid-grade steels that get even better if the manufacturers get the hardness and heat treat right. Ideally, they should be 61 Rockwell or higher.

Was gonna get this knife but went with the alliance designs signature series ray laconico jasmine. M390 for 125 but this one is on the list. While I sit here and play with a protech ferrum forge mordax, we malice (designed by ferrum forge), and a civivi ferrum forge odium. I love the odium. I have large hands and it fits perfect. Love ferrum forge. Love ur reviews!

I have the same tan G10 Stinger and overall, I like it. Yeah, not a fan of the T6 hardware (and it is T6s under the scales too). I did find that after just a little fidgeting, the pivot screw would loosen. I tightened it several times but it kept backing off. Finally went ahead and disassembled it, cleaned and relubed with 10w Nano oil (which improved the action) and blue Loctited the pivot screw which cured the backing off problem. The Stinger is a sweet little EDC knife.
@NeevesKnives4 жыл бұрын
The t6s are a shame, its still a great knife, and i love the simplicity of it, it works great which is whats great have to say it doesnt look bad either
@lenzielenski32764 жыл бұрын
I think they compomised a littke too much on quality to keep a price point/margin. Looks like swelled head syndrome has set in. Have you looked at their Executive? Nice but well above market for what it is. This is the flip side. Low price but cuts corners, IMHO. Nevertheless I do like it and own it.

Why on earth would they use t6!? That is such a garbage fastener, everyone has problems and hates t6 why do companies insist on using t6. Step up your game and use at minimum t8

Can't qualify as an EDC if the pocket clip is non-reversible.
@NeevesKnives4 жыл бұрын
I guess not if you carry in the left pocket, I always carry in the right and Kara is left handed but she carries in the right hand and does a lot with her right hand shes ambidextrous I guess but still considered left handed
