Yes sis … நானும் 40 வருஷம் முந்தியே படிச்சு முடிச்சுட்டேன்…nw settled in Malaysia …sent my children to govt school… here.. 🤩😎… here 90% children r studying in govt school..,👍…my children finished studies and nw working😇😎பள்ளி படிப்பு இங்கே சுமை இல்லை…நம்ம ஊரிலும் அரசாங்கம் பள்ளிகளை தரமானதாக மாற்றனும்… இங்கு எனக்கு பிடித்தது… டாக்டர் பையனும் அவுங்க வீட்டில் வேலை செய்யும் maid பையனும் … அவர் driver பையனும் ஒரே school la தான் படிக்கிறார்கள்… நம்ம ஊரில் அந்த மனநிலை எல்லாருக்கும் வருமா??…

who will bell the cat??when we think of govt schools, we also think of th environment our kids are going to grow up in. govt schools dont even have proper toilets esp in the cities. atleast the govt schools in the suburban places nearby villages and outside city limts have proper playgrounds, space for the kids with minimal support from the govt interms of stationery, teachers etc. it might look very sweet if we say our kids mates are from multiple backgrounds, etc but not everyone can team up with high potential kids - sports, literary activities, etc. am saying this coz my precocious 5 yr old was at min 2nd grade level intellectually but my wife put her foot down when i suggested we put him in the neighborhood govt school. long story short, the encouragement exposure he got for co-curricular activities might notve been possible in the govt school. unless we upper middle class adopt the local schools and invest in the infra, etc , we wont be able to change this trend - maybe like Delhis AAP party did. and yeah , part of csr, i also taught fora 1/2 at the local govt school, really felt sad for those incredibly sweet little kids - children of the local domestic helps, auto drivers and other lower income groups - but all crowded into benches, no proper equipment, etc. really sad to even reflect. anywy, now that precs. 5-yr old is 25 and did very very well right thru, touch wood.

Governments have the right to change everything in the right way. if they would be decided on all the basic essential things like education, medical, transport, agriculture, and water to be given to every public with quality, then the government would be democratic. political should be one of the main social service departments. but nowadays politicians are creating that its a main business. we don't know when we will meet the real public service mentality government.

In reality, Govt teachers are highly qualified and far better than private schools. The real reason is, Middle class and above or even lower middle class are not interested to mingle their children with poor class (sc) children in govt schools. To solve this problem, all govt employees children’s should study in govt schools, then the general public will also put their children’s in govt schools too. Then Govt needs to increase the number of schools & staffs and moreover they will not get a bribe from private schools. Then govt teachers will go for a strike to double their salary too. This is a huge financial burden to govt and for politicians too. So the politicians will not be interested to increase the govt schools students strength unless if there is a massive public movement. So the govt wants to keep the public school for poor sc/st community only, so they make sure that other general public will not go to public school. So it is easy for politicians to loot the money and continue the caste politics starting from childhood. sc/st/very poor people- public school Middle class - costly medium/low quality private schools High class - high quality schools with minimal fees ( no awareness on general public)
