Hey Jeff, got all my interview rounds completed at Google for Vendor Management role last week. I feel the 1st 3 rounds were great including skip level but last round with Hiring manager wasn't that great. Now waiting for Recruiter feedback, what's your guess?

FYI: My skip level happened before hiring manager (wasn't planned before) to decide which role to be more suitable out of two roles in VM org, as I got a great feedback in 1st round. Later, my hiring manager got sick and another manager took hiring manager round which i feel didn't go well last week compared to first 3 rounds

@imprem_prakash, unfortunately, without direct access to the feedback, I would just be guessing. Remember, it is about the collective feedback, not one interview. Good luck, keep us posted.

​@@jeffhsipepihey Jeff, unfortunately I could not clear my last round focusing on RRK with the Hiring Manager. But I feel more confident now to do better with learning from my failure. I saw a few relevant openings within GCP with another hiring manager, do you think Google will allow me to apply for the job again in such a short time or do I have to wait like 6 to 12 months?

@@imprem_prakash I am sorry to hear this result! For different roles, you can re-apply now, but I recommend working with your Recruiter and not applying. For the same role - you will need to wait 6-12 months.

Hey Jeff, I have applied to a Data Center Technician role and passed all my interviews, is there a good chance I would get a fit call even if I haven't heard back after a week? Last I heard was that the hiring team was still looking to see if I am a good fit. And is there anything I could do to have a better chance of getting the job? Thanks!

@pelusarita, if you have not heard back in a week, I would check in today. There is really nothing you can do at this point to strengthen your case, you have done the hard work of doing well in the interviews. Good luck!

Thank you Jeff! Looks like someone internal took the last spot there was available, but my recruiter said there’s a possibility for more openings soon. Hopefully by next month, but I’m not sure if that’s certain or not. Just waiting to hear back now
