Just curious, what kind of MOSFET and trigger contacts did you use for this gun? The LCT G3 doesn't have any metal on its selector plate or contacts on the outside of its trigger contacts for the plate to engage, so what did you use?

hate bearing bushings on spur and sector gears!! I ALWAYS replace them. had 1 too many experiences with them exploding inside gearboxes. You'd love my We G3 GBBR!! But it has its problems too.
@hakont.49604 жыл бұрын
High quality 8mm bearings installed properly, properly packed with grease and with properly shimmed gears will be very reliable, but that's what many do wrong I guess.
@ghostwalkerairsofttech19474 жыл бұрын
@@hakont.4960 we'll have to agree to disagree, my experience with bearing bushings has never been good beyond 6 months to a year if you're lucky. The risk of them exploding inside your gearbox and breaking gears or other things is a risk Im not willing to take. Ive had that happen taking out a bevel gear and pinion (in an Avalon POS). Those bearings are tiny and really aren't supposed to be lubed with grease by ASTM standards. They are meant to be lubed with oil. That's why they use a semi fluid grease in high speed machinery bearings, textile machinery for instance. I have professional expertise in the area of lubrication. I've seen where people over pack them with grease and it just slings and melts all over things. Another CON, they are an open design in airsoft bearings where dirt, grit, and water can get into them and cause failures. I'll stay with solid bushings. You don't really gain much with ball bearings.
@hakont.49604 жыл бұрын
@@ghostwalkerairsofttech1947 The performance increase is minor of course, but bearings run a bit smoother. There's of course a big difference between a set of G&P/Kanzen bearings and a set of SHS bearings, you definitely wanna use quality bearings and no smaller than 8mm. My oldest set of bearings is 5 years or so, lost count of the cycles they're gone through, probably several hundred thousands. I obviously wouldn't use bearings in a high powered LMG or DMR or if I built a gun for someone else and got paid for it.
@ghostwalkerairsofttech19474 жыл бұрын
@@hakont.4960 If you wouldnt put them in a gun youd build for someone why put them in your own? I simply shy away from them bc of bad experiences with them. Failures were not due to shimming as I tend to shim a little on the lighter side when using bearings (If I have to use them, ie customer request).. the differences between running "smoother" with them vs with solid bushings I would defy anyone that says they can tell a difference from the outside of the gun as long as the shim job is good. Solid bushings are just a tried and true component. If it aint broke dont fix it.
@hakont.49604 жыл бұрын
@@ghostwalkerairsofttech1947 For the same reason I wouldn't build a gun with more than 30 RPS for a "customer", to be on the safe side. I can easily rebuild the gearbox in any of my AEG's if there's a catastrophic failure, but that's not all people have the knowhow and experience to do that. The bearings I use have been supremely reliable, that's why I keep using them, but only if there's room for 8mm bearings. I can tell the difference since I have ears? The difference isn't big, but it's there. I also like the reduced wear on the gear shafts, the slightly higher performance, and also less risk of the bearings spinning in the shell and damaging the gearbox shell. "If it ain't broke don't fix it", that's my philosphy for most things in life, but when it comes to airsoft teching I'm more adventurous. Most of my guns have reasonable performance, but once in a while I like to do something more bonkers. I'm not disagreeing with you about steel bushings being the sensible choice, it's a no-brainer really.

Hi there, I saw the video because I want to make my LCT LC-3 a good DMR, I think it has the potential, but when I saw the video I just get more question than answers, I think you use the same gears as it has from the box, but what about spring? You change the spring? And if so, what spring can u use in the LC-3 to not fuck the gears? You get almost 200 fps just shimming? Please help me out with this Thanks in advance

Any info on why the customer decided against the HPA engine after fitting one? I've been meaning to put an F2 in mine (for customization reasons, thumbhole stock and all...) and I don't see a reason to change my plans so far, even though the Internals are fantastic and I've had worse experiences in more expensive products...still could use the gearbox for something else, I reckon.
