I bought one of the SA-F02 flex for CQBs and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Sounds lovely on 7.4s, better than some of the guns I have that cost twice as much. Light weight. Had to replace the motor, but other than that it has been flawless.

just opened one up, all was good except for the terrible seal with the piston head and a hundred slivers of metal sprinkled through the gear box. the gears and piston rack were in perfect condition, looks like a lot of flashing that was never cleaned off. sounded like 100 screeching cats when i got it

I have the same Specna, same gear box. It's inconsistent. I have checked everything, air seal, nozzle, changed hop up and barrel and still inconsistent. What could it be?

That's not "a" 7.4. That's a friggin HUGE Li-Ion 7.4v, which I also have. In my E&L AKM that battery is literally nothing away from a small(ish) 11.1v in trigger response. The difference is only noticeable in RoF. A regular 1200-1300mAh 7.4v is not so nice :)

@@jeppemj1398 yup all good internally, i havent been using it for a while now cus i have a new gbb mp9 now, but ive been using the m4 on n off for 1 year now, i think specna has upped their quality assurance since ppl got those lemons. mines shooting 325-335 fps and it works aight.

Hi every1 off topic but id like to ask for some help. I have a g&g sr25 (knights arm mlock ver) and it shoots well but i have feeding issues.. My guess is the mag but i dont have any other 308 mag to test.. I already applied a little silicone oil and it runs slightly better but it still has feeding issues with almost every mag cycle.. Honestly I run a TM Hi Capa that nothing is stock on but the frame and a HPA Krytac PDW-M but my newest gun is my favorite and it's a $300 gas shotgun with nothing done to it and it's a blast to play with you don't need a crazy DSG build to have fun

So what exactly did you do to get such a good FPS consistency? I guess the drive (gears, electronics) has nothing to do with that, it is all in the pneumatic parts, is it? Did you change anything about it?

FPS consistency is all about managing air seals between all of the places air travels. The most common cock up is testing an air seal nozzle fully compressed against the cylinder head where it isn't when the gun fires. Had plenty of AEG nozzles which seal against the cylinder head at full compression but not when extended like it is when the thing fires. Getting to high FPS consistency is also a matter of the right tools for the job. Silicon shock oils in the compression parts, grades on the gears. Don't mix their locations.

@Whiskey's Gaming Lounge I agree, partially. First, great FPS consistency comes not only from air seal. Even a spring may cause inconsistencies. And even leaks may be consistent. But I do always make sure that I have perfect airseal using syringe test by manually compressing the piston the cylinder while the nozzle is in extended position (I rotate the tappet plate 90° so it is leaning on the side of the cylinder head). I can get something like ÷/- 2FPS (so 4FPS variation) but not less. On the video, we've seen 1.5FPS variation. You will get as much just from the variance on the BB weigth (I've checked that on microweight with 0.000001g accuracy with few different brands of precision BBs), so the variance of the actual energy the replica is pricing must be close to 0. So anyways, my airseal on a syntheric test seems to be perfect but I still don't have as stable FPS so there must be something else to improve..

@@krzysztofadamski2884 that's true. Consistency in every aspect is important. Getting a gearbox to stop rotating in the same place, consistently, helps with consistency. It shouldn't, but it does because air seals depends on movement to maintain, so that time to cycle matters some. It all matters, but in truth the air seal stuff is where most go wrong. Using high quality components in the rest of the gearbox is common sense too. A 4 fps spread is damn good for an AEG. Trying for better is going to run until the money vs time vs effectiveness argument. Probably spend a lot of time and money to get very negligible accuracy improvements thanks to airsoft bb limitations.

High mAh LiPo 11.1v battery? A decent mosfet should avoid that. I believe either a GATE Nano or Pico SSR is enough, despite NanoAAB comes with an interesting feature (active braking).

The contacts where making contact on just the tip causing it to burn the second it touched and for the flow of electricity to be awful. I bent it now so that when it touches it makes a good amount of contact and also makes full contact at full trigger pull

Hey negative airsoft and anyone else that reads this, I have a lancer tactical m4 my buddy gave me (I know lancer tacticals are crap) but I wanted to make this one run decent but it has this problem that it’ll only work well in full auto, when I switch it to semi it’ll shoot once and then no response when I pull the trigger. I know I’m watching this vid a year too late but on the off chance you might see this comment, I was wondering how you repaired the seal on the piston. I have this exact same replica with the “nicer” Orion gearbox and fat piston head but the cut out for the o-ring is way too deep and the o-ring just flops around. I was wondering how did you back fill the gap to get a good seal? I know how much you LUV PTFE tape so… did you back fill with smaller o-rings? Thanks and please keep up the great work.
