Good video. While testing air seal like that is good, what's even more important is testing the seal with the tappet, tappet spring, and nozzle forward.
@Hofinator74 жыл бұрын
The test is meant to illustrate that the ptfe tape is unnecessary (and not a test of the overall air seal). While I understand your logic, you will also lose air if the nozzle does not properly seal to the hop rubber, or if the hop rubber is damaged, etc. etc. There are a lot of factors that contribute to the seal and efficiency of the air system, but the important and major source of the air volume (as tested in the video) is the piston head-cylinder-cylinder head assembly.

Saw you using the tool to fit the bearings and flattening the new piston for perfekt fitment of the piston head and already knew this is one of the better teching channels on YT, great job! Besides, this build isn't based on the parameters you've described - it was built fro somebody who wanted fast responding semi at a certain power & all else was not important :-) Sensible spring power on 13:1 is an m90-100 max - builds like that are like masturbating during Christmas dinner - you can do it but it's stressful , problematic & everybody around you thinks you're a wanker when it all goes wrong despite your best efforts - I normally wait until after dinner ;-)

I send it back to scambase i mean patrolbase, and they email me instantly blaming me for "using the wrong size screwdrivers" when i don't own any screwdrivers and only ever took the red dot sight off which was allen keys. They said they will "fix all issues regardless", sent it back and it was literally the same as when i sent it them broken except with silicone oil sprayed everywhere. They did a wank paintjob for the two tone i had to get (because i can't renew ukara due to covid) they clearly didn't clean the slide before they painted it as there was black blotches everywhere where the paint didn't adhere to, also sprayed the inside of the slide which if you know anything about gbb pistols is just a fucking nightmare in itself. Also completely ignored my emails and facebook comments about them ripping me off with a gun that has manufacturer defects (like the blowback housing moving inside the slide) and them blaming me for the snapped and stripped screws that their incompetent "tech" broke. ok so upon binge watching your past vids, I hear alot of stop using sorbo, stop using ptfe tape etc. For the ptfe tape piece you always mention replacing the o-rings. Perhaps in your next vid with an AEG with compression problems may be a good idea to explain to folks how to size the o-rings appropriately. I only mention this because while you might be able to find them on airsoft supplier sites they are not a common item that they stock because they want you to buy another cylinder head, planned obsolescence in a sense, which is bullshit. Therefore you can get them from industrial supply sites and even hardware stores occasionally, but you have ot know how to size them to get the right ones. and next maybe explain to folks how to NOT use sorbo and still have good AOE, ie get your gears and piston from the same manufacturer, etc. just some thought for you about content.
