started taking my nephew airsofting the other year , i didn't think i would be able to do it as i'm 55 and suffer with arthritis but there was no one else to take him. the lad's at the site made me welcome and i found that i love it , i can't do every skirmish but i do as many in the day as i can . i'm now a member and a gun collector and i love doing some of the easier tech work myself . i find your videos an inspiration for me to have a go at things that are a little harder then i would normally try. so keep up the good work because even an old get like me needs inspiration . well done.

11 out of 10 indeed, stuff happens at times but it is only then you find out just how good "customer service" truly is when things don't quite go to plan. Whatever the reason I award you sir 11 out of a possible 10. Yes this level of service "should" be the standard norm, but we all know in reality many places fall well short of this. This is the difference between good techs and bad. If a problem arises, the priority is to deal with it like you say. Sure sometimes the customers have absolutely caused damage themselves, but as you point out, it could have been courier, could have been a material defect, could have been you, could have been a number of things. But either way, it's a problem that needs resolving. Others would simply blame the customer and charge them a fee again.....

Had a power switch in a nylon case do that went in fine test then a fire issue the tab had just fallen out so cut a drill bit 1.5mm fit the hole and glue still running a year later "would say use there unfortunately!" Had a issue with metal and nylons on the selection switch took 8 months to get what i needed due to the mystery of the 4mm 1.8mm micro screw you can't get anywhere at moment and the fact not one product has pins for selection switch for space difference the general is 3mm space to case but have one that has a 5mm chunk ??😕

I had the frat release, and the battery installing was worse than my G&G Sig 552c, I had to sell it because it was such a wank to change. That, and it shredded the piston, Fair play for ASG and their warranty, the Airsoft store fixed it for free. It was sold as soon as it was returned.

Let me tell you, when i say I understand why you don’t work on EVO’s, I UNDERSTAND. I have had mine for 6 years, got the first model when they came out. Broke 4 years later, which is surprising that it lasted that long because the spring guide was known to explode. And once parts start breaking on that thing, everything starts breaking. I’ve had the cylinder head and piston head literally explode, then 2 teeth on the sector gear sheared off. It’s broken on me 3 times in the last 2 years so I finally said fuck it. I found a company that makes an EVO hpa trigger board and the right sized nozzle and I’m gonna throw a polarstar in there. It’s a bitch to take apart so it’s time for a more reliable system.

I hate these bastards with a passion, the screws holding the gearbox together are usually unnecessarily short so if you even slightly overtighten them, it strips the threads out, and the mushy fire selectors like to randomly fall off (which also bind up if you tighten them) make me want to set the thing on fire. I especially love the ~£350 gun coming out the box with $2 gearsets.

I like them, like a ngrs they don't like modification but it's a standard v2 gearbox & a tougher recoil on the back so 11.1v ready, but would suggest a basic ab mosfet - be need for warfet etc, precocking is bad for recoil guns.

Um, there's no "red light of death" with the EVO. All the red light signals is a jam with the gears, simply put the board did not get the proper signal from the CL. I'm with ya on 99% of your vid's. But there's no "red light if death."
